The host was very good, service was fast.. two gluten free meals and non gluten free meals were awesome too.. Cocktails weren't bad either

Had three courses. Yummy, Very nice. Great service, polite and very welcoming staff. Clean and tidy rest rooms. Very good COVID-19 practices in place. Will be going back.

Had the carbonara and pasta vodka, with garlic bread as takeaway which was great. Also ordered a side of salad, which for $10 was shocking. Meant to be “Italian” inspired but all I got was a handful of lettuce leaves with some tasteless mayo, nothing else with it, real dissapointed as it’s happened to us before with takeaway ordering another expensive side dish that turned out to be not worth it, sad otherwise would’ve rated higher

Highly recommended. My friends and I went here to have brunch. The food was nothing short of amazing and the staff was very accommodating. Shout out to the waiter on duty (We forgot to ask his name) for the top notch service. He helped make my partner’s birthday even more special. Definitely coming here again!

This is a nice place with a great atmosphere, great service and great prices. Extra-special pasta dishes are yummy and give some education to people unfamiliar with Italy. Great wine list. The convenient location is close and central. We enjoyed our experience and expect to return.

Went for a birthday dinner. Food was phenomenal. Rack of lamb was seriously amazing. Service was also good. Would have been 5 stars if wait time was less. Will be back based on the quality of the food.

Really nice food. And a good atmosphere. With good service. Food was quite slow in coming but not unreasonably so.

Beautiful meal with the beautiful Lee as our hostess. Garlic prawns with rice as a shared entre which was perfect to start with, really tasty and a very nice size, not over done in quantity just right. I had Lasagna for the main in a very hot dish with absolutely yummy tomato and peppery homemade sauce with baked potatoes and vegetables on the side, the was all scrumptious, my wife had rack of lamb which she also said was tender and very well cooked rare,with great sides. We both came away very well fed and happy.

We are never disappointed with the quality of food and the service here.

The service was great. We were in a big group and everyone seemed to like there meals, myself though I had the lasagne and the potatoes and veges were so delicious but personal I found the lasagne a little bit odd with the ham in it and the sauce around the outside.

Two fantastic meals in here, the lamb cutlets and also the vodka del pollo- would recommend both!

Excellent pastas, cheesecake and tiramisu ! All desserts came with homemade ice-cream. A bit long waiting time but definitely worth it, very yummy !

Amazing seafood and great gluten free options for pizza and pasta! They only do penne pasta gluten free, not linguine, but it’s still great to have the option. The risotto that came with the fish of the day was superb! The calamari entire was also very nice. Only rating 4 stars as my partner wasn’t satisfied with his carbonara pasta, it was very hot and rubbery.

We went for dinner and the waitress overheard us talking about me being gluten free, she approached me quietly and professionally to confirm and then she kindly told me what was ok for me to have along with how they can accommodate for my requirements. This really impressed me. I managed to have a beautiful delicious 2 course meal (because I was too full to eat a 3rd) completely gluten free. I left feeling thought about and welcome - not a weirdo. And my wonderful evening was less than $50. Quality, quantity and service all in one place! The restaurant is spacious and not jammed packed so you don't feel like you need to mind your P's & Q's. Completely recommended for a nice night out with friends.

Four of us dined tonight and were impressed with the prompt and friendly service from our waitress. Food arrived in good time. Really loved the Bruschetta we shared. We all enjoyed our mains. Sadly no room for dessert. Looking forward to dining at Bella Vita again. Thank you for a great night out.

Thoroughly enjoyed this evening dinner at Bella Vita. Excellent service although there was another table of 20 that I thought might have affected service but not so. Our table of 5 had a range of entrees and main courses. We were all very happy with the quality of them. Beautifully prepared and served. Averaged out at around $70 each with a couple of wines each.

Nice vibes, friendly staff and great food. Would have gotten 5 stars if the waitress hadn't forgot about my friends wine order. That's ok tho, stuff like that happens, I'm far from perfect too. Highly recommend this place!

Went here last week with a couple of finds and had some good food and AMAZING cocktails. The waiter even offered to take a picture of us all when he saw us trying to take one of ourselves. Super friendly staff, a bit shy but overall attentive and had good service. Thanks

We booked last minute and got a table squeezed in for us. Good range of GF options so had my first pasta meal at a restaurant. Lovely staff and nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, delicious food, polite and friendly staff. We are visiting Taranaki and came here on a recommendation and are glad we did. Only missed out on 5 stars as it was a little hot in the back of the restaurant were we were seated. Would happily dine here again.

We went to this Restaurant last night the food was amazing and to follow our meal we had the Sticky Date Pudding OMG! It was to Die for! best I have EVER had!!! Very friendly waitress who was so helpful, wish this place was in Tauranga where we live, I would be there at least once a week!! :-)

Great food and service but the meal took well over 45 mins to come out on the lunch sitting with only 4 people in the restaurant. Other than that it's was lovely and I'd definitely got back.

Not authentic Italian. I ordered the carbonara with gf pasta. Super super salty and the very nice waitress has it remade. Pasta was over cooked both times and the sauce is too runny. Husbands vodka sauce is not vodka sauce at all. Also over cooked pasta but he was starving after hiking 10 miles so ate it nonetheless.

(Translated) The gnocchi sauce is delicious. The gnocchi absolutely soft and bland. The duck, absolutely dry. Former Italian food place. (Original) La salsa de los ñoquos riquísima. Los ñoquis absolutamente blandos e insulsos. El pato, absolutamente seco. Ex lugar de comida italiana.

(Translated) Italian-New Zealand cuisine? Lasagne with baked potatoes - even tasty separately, but somehow they don't go together well. Gnocci could also be a little more al dente. Tramisu tasted more like a cake, and creme brulee was a bit rare. Apparently ok, but something is not right here. (Original) Kuchnia włosko-nowozelndzka? Lasagne z pieczonymi ziemniakami - osobno nawet smaczne, ale razem jakoś nie współgrają. Gnocci też mogłoby być trochę bardziej al dente. Tramisu smakowało raczej jak tort, a creme brulee był trochę za rzadki. Niby ok, ale coś tu do końca nie gra.
