Currently visiting NP and was looking for place to eat at times where most restaurants are on siesta break..., glad to find out cafe turquoise. Service is friendly and quick and most of all good is good and tasty. Meats are cooked properly serves with 4 sauces and did I say, salad here is made fresh. Thank you cafe turquoise for a nice meal, will see you again before we head back to Akl.

So enjoy the food and service here. The food is fresh and creative. The chip kebab is pure genius with sauces and extras for every taste. Coffee is fantastic with a wide range of drinks and beverages for all.

Delicious Turkish food delivered with a helpful and efficient service. I really like that this place combines the best of having a Turkish Kebabs takeaway with a restaurant feel. We were eating in and I was curious to start with. You grabbed your drinks out of the fridge and that was a tough call between the beer or the range of fizz and juice, including many organic brands. Then wandered over to the counter to place your order. Another tough call. Do you get the standard kebab or burger or meat on chips or go for one of the fancier options on menu with salads and breads. I went with the mixed meat on chips because I was STARVING and everything smelt so good. No regrets. What came out was a pile of deliciousness. My jeans were stretched and I was pushed to finish it. Both for value for money and for quality of food, I would recommend it. Then the excellent service on top really seals the deal. You've got to check it out yourself!

Unbeatable Kebab! Best i have tasted in NZ. Great if they open a branch in Auckland!! Owner told me all the kebab meats are selfmade....not bought! Highly recommended.

This is one of my regular takeaways and it's never been a disappointment. Fresh food, fast service and big filling portions always takecare of my lazy weekends. My personal favourite is chicken iskender which essentially is kebabs on rice but comes with a range of sides complementing turkish cuisine which distinguishes it. The food is delicious and the dine in is pretty well maintained. Off street parking will be a struggle on the busy days.

Turquoise cafe was busy for lunch. The atmosphere was great. The staff are friendly and smiling. The best part was Turkish baklava. The location is right in town, some convenient. We love the design of the place and the look and feel is great. Good prices and good food. We look forward to our next experience.

great food, good combination of meat and vegetables ! We walked down CBD New Plymouth and see so many restaurants closed or empty on a Sunday Christmas holiday season! It’s sad to see Covid had such big influence to local business. Many local came to this place for takeaways and dine-in! We really like the Grills ( mixed meat) and the Iskenders ( mixed meat) recommend !

LOVE the coffee! LOVE the turkish bread for the burgers! LOVE the meat on fries with all the sauces! LOVE the turkish delights! The portion sizes for the meals are definitely bigger then my appetite but nothing goes to waste. And the staff is great! My uncle was also well impressed with the choice of alcohol, 🙃 you've won our stomachs! He will definitely be back when he's in town for work again and so will I! Cannot wait to try out the kebabs 🥰🤤🌯

Beautiful! My partner and I both had a mixed kebab and the meat was VERY tasty. All round so so yummy. Unfortunately the lady who served us was not very friendly otherwise would have been an easy 5 stars!

Recently visited with friends in this place, a very cozy place, and the dish just melts in your mouth. I tried the lamb skewer and my friends ordered Mixed Iskander. Portions are large and the meat feels very fresh and the sauces made by the chefs are very nicely combined with our dishes. The ingredients of the salad were very fresh and we ate everything to the end. We liked Turkish cuisine very much and recommend everyone to go and discover Turkish food. And I would also like to thank the chefs for the great Turkish dessert called Baklava, it just amazing guys 😋👍

Café Turquoise is my favourite restaurant in New Plymouth. There's always a table, even though they are busy. Lovely friendly staff, clean premises. The food is delicious and fresh, and the service is quick. I've been in a large group and still had a delightful evening. The prices are very reasonable, and this cuisine is the healthiest around. The food was great. I was a bit disappointed when ordering the Iskender that it came with 2 tiny pieces of bread about 4cm long by 1cm wide. I would suggest getting a kebab on rice instead. Staff werent friendly at all and the ordering was awkward with how distant the staff member was acting. Maybe best to order food for take away. Food was fresh and delicious besides everything else.
