C.Hard to find anywhere to eat and drink this holiday weekend but managed to get a table here.
Slow service due to larger than normal crowd but couldnt fault them

J.Great food but a couple of service details let them down. We got our meal in good time but no cutlery to eat it with, and after we had finished the plates were whisked off the table without a word. Light meals as well as steak chicken etc. Yummy looking range of desserts. Tables well sited for privacy, interesting decor, comfy seat. Nice suggestion by waitress for drink. Looks like they have different themes and specials every night of the week. Wish I lived in New Plymouth to visit again.
A.Good banter from the staff, absolutely awesome customer service. The waffles my niece had were beautiful & mohito was good. Would definitely reccomend.

O.My son and I had lunch here and I loved the fish of the day with young potatoes and sweet peas. I have tried his omelet, and it was fluffy and tasty too. Generous pub portions good for extra long lunches or sharing. Good atmosphere, good prices and a TV is going. The staff are well presented and have good smiles. The location is in town and easy to spot.

M.The food was realy tasty. The portion was big and good value. The meat was nice and smoky and the ribs where soft and flavorful. Not just smothered in sauce. The service was realy good. Our waitress was realy friendly and genuine. She kept our glasses full and we never had to chase her for more drinks. We have found our new regular when in town for work.
U.Staff are okay and friendly. The food is abit over priced and not the best. Its your regular pub food nothing amazing. Just a simple watering hole for the locals to watch the game. 5/10.

L.Good price and good food. We ordered the platter for two and the crispy chicken sliders. The platter was good: an interesting variety of nibbles, as well as the salad to balance the deep fried ones, was a good idea. The crispy chicken sliders were just ok, the chicken was a little burned and the cheese should go inside of the bun, not outside IMHO.
Would come back nonetheless, liked the environment and service.

L.Came here on a very busy Sunday evening, took ages to get seated as only one server seemed to interact with guests coming through the door. However once seated, drinks and food was reasonably quick. We had the pork sliders and steak and they we're fantastic.

K.I'm only giving it 4 stars because the service was so fast that we felt a little rushed to leave, we didn't have a lot of time to look at the menus before the staff were over 2 or 3 times to ask what we would like to order. Our main meals were coming out before we had time to finish our shared entree (garlic bread). However, the staff were lovely and super efficient, chatty and the food was beautiful.

T.Visited here today for a mates 50th, great place to have a do! The place looks amazing, funky and fun decor! Great atmosphere, the staff very amazingly friendly and helpful. They didn't even mind the mess the toddlers made with all the toys! We had several platters brought out and dammmmnnnn an insane amount of food, delish too! Would love to come back (child free) at some point to properly sit down and enjoy one of their meals. Highly recommend if your wanting a great place for a yummy meal!
A.I popped in for lunch, and I was pleased. The best southern fried chicken burger I have ever tasted. The beer was cold and the staff warm and friendly. I'll be back!!

E.Went there for dinner on a weekday. Fairly busy relative to nearby restaurants. Food was good and service was good. But flies are a bit out of control. One landed on my plate... would still go there again but I would request to eat further away from the door... Price is fair for the type of bar food they are.
V.The place is amazing. The food is delicious. It has for all tastes, from for those who love to eat carna to those who are vegetarian. Good selection of drinks offered by the place. The staff are kind, friendly and polite. The menu besides being varied, has good sized portions
L.Burger was nice, both times I went. Fairly good value. Nachos seemed to be made with a jar of spaghetti Bolognas sauce. Can't confirm as I didn't ask, but was definitely off putting. Service was good and friendly.
A.It was our first time here but I guess it’ll be just until there. The food was yum but we have to wait for more than an hour just for the steak to come. We noticed that those who came after us was served first and we were starving to death. When we got the food, it was not as hot as it should be expected. Though we were compensated with additional drinks in return for the late serving, still we’re disappointed about the preparation time.

Order was wrong, missed out getting 2 of the same meal. Was told (one dish was too much for one person anyway) ended up sharing.

H.Home of the rugby and the best band in the region. Crowdy is great for a lunchtime steak meal, or a Friday Saturday clubbing experience. I'd highly recommend this place if you're ever in New Plymouth, stop on in and grab a cold one. The service leaves a little to desire although that could just be my own experience at play. They were a bit rude but Hey, it's hospitality and we all have bad days. Keep it up Crowdy.

J.First time we ever ate here. The usual fare, seafood was mostly deep fried prepackaged items. Shame there were no scallops or oysters. I tried to find something vaguely healthy. I shared a small bowl of curly fries, but I think we got the broken ones from the bottom of the bag, as they were more like elbows. I had the chickpea/cous cous salad. I enjoyed it and it was a generous portion, but the dressing was a little heavy handed. I should have asked for it on the side. I wanted the vegetarian nachos, but strangely they use chickpeas instead of kidney beans, so it put me off. I do applaud them for having several vegetarian /vegan dishes on the menu. The waitress was friendly. It was midweek, so not rowdy.

Wedges were great but suggest a bigger bowl as hard to get sauces on with a bowl that so overflowing already.
Sliders were a bit bland.
Donut and ice cream is a must but could have been hotter as it seemed like my donuts sat around a little before being served.
Overall a great place to eat.

A.Nice meal and atmosphere. What let this experience down was lack of service. We asked for the desrt menu, which we got pretty quickly, but no one came back to take our order. The place was not busy, monday night, and had enough staff to cover.

M.It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Definitely nice sports bar,with cheap bear and nice service,but not place where I will be eating. Food is overpriced and portions aren't sufficient. Another thing is that on the hot day is inside to hot, AC isn't working probably or is missing. I know that everyone deserves second chance,but im not sure if I'll be coming back.
