E.Wonderful staff,service great,my burger was average(meat was abit dry),nice chips and sauce.Prawns good.Clean and tidy.
S.Lone Star New Plymouth, New Zealand. As one of my all time favorite I ordered the Lamb dish & my partner ordered Campfire Burrito (veg). Both the dishes were excellent & delicious. Compliments to the Chefs. We tried cocktails, Mojito & Moscow Mule. Both drinks were a disappointment. Mojito was bland served with stale & spoilt mint leaves whilst the latter drink tasted just plain ice & ginger beer. Upon asking Chengchen at the bar to change drink she arrogantly said she would drink Mojito served like that. We spend so much at Lone Star & this is the service we get. Jacob our waiter was friendly & polite so that was good to see. Would be great to see if staff are trained well on how to mix cocktails & mind you we do know our drinks hence saying.
b.Very nice restaurant. Ribeye stake was perfect and Pork ribs was littebit hard but taste so good.
C.The food (lamb) was so good! It was juicy and tender been here everyday for dinner and the service was great! They remebered us after the first night, seated us at our usual table and asked if we would like the same dishes from the night before. I was impressed
The servering of the food took a little bit longer then the usual, taking into consideration the resturant was busy.
The food is pricey but it is definitely worth it.
Would highly recommend this restaurant!
P.After reading the reviews of a number of places it was clear not to risk anywhere else for a good feed of steak and chips. Staff super friendly and helpful, drinks arrived promptly, and the meal was as expected. Steak as ordered (medium rare), fries crispy. Will be back.
H.Chicken was soft and delicious.Small dessert for children and good! The staff were friendly.
B.Food was fantastic , tried the ribs for the first time and wasn't disappointed, beautiful flavors , my wife had the lamb and said it very tender and full of flavor. The staff were brilliant , there when you but not hovering. Been heaps of times and look forward to going again .
L.We dined with a large family group on Saturday night. I ordered the 'naked chicken burger' (no bun), it was very tasty but was spoilt by being served on a ridiculously small 'side' plate, which made it difficult to eat. Most of our group seemed happy with their meals. The service was quite good, although my drink order was overlooked. The restaurant is looking very tired and where we were sitting, we were looking up at a dirty TV screen and cobwebs in the corner, not a great look!
