Food was what you'd expect for maccas. Had a bit of wait. Parking area and drive through could do with an upgrade. Not bad overall

cant find McDonald’s as big as this place, it is clean and has wider tables, not crowded and quick service.. only thing is that the staff has to practice good customer service, smile especially the barista 😊

This McDonald’s would have to be one of the best in New Zealand, fast service, always clean and tidy. It’s a shame the play ground has been changed to a small pointless don’t even know what to call it. Also the toilets had a make over but the men’s is now where the woman’s was and the woman’s is where the men’s was, not too sure what the thinking behind that was but it could catch out someone that just goes to the toilet without looking and relying on habit.

This is the noisiest Mc D's I've come across. The hard surfaces, all the alarms turned up to the Max, so staff are yelling in the kitchen. Yeah, not a relaxed environment at all.

Clean and tidy place always seems to be simple mistakes made by staff, either forgetting an item or food comes out Luke warm or you get a large Fries and you get less than the medium. I think the staff could do with a little portions and quality control training

As a connoisseur of the old New Plymouth McDonald's I have to say that out of all the McDonald's I have been too, New Plymouth has been the most consistent. It is true you will get parked up when it is early and you are wanting items that are not commonly ordered but that is great because it means it is freshly cooked and hot. New Plymouth McDonald's used to have a problem with wrong orders being passed to customers in the drive through but this was resolved a number of years ago. One of the fastest McDonald's I have been to and consistently consistent.

Feels brand new when walking in, nice decor, tables very well laid out. Music playing was very upbeat. We ordered table service and it was delivered reasonably quickly, apart from a not very hot hash brown this was a great Macca's experience.

I was very impressed with the service at McDonald's New Plymouth today. I had no idea how to order on the app and asked the counter staff person. She showed me how to order and did that for me and made me feel welcome. I work in customer service so know it's not always easy. Thanks to the lady for the great service

Regulation McDonald's store offering the complete menu. Convenient location with decent parking spaces available. The children's area is big and quite popular too. Service is good and fast. The staff are helpful and nice. Proximity to mains streets makes it easier to visit. Overall well recommended.

The cultural epicentre of the thriving metropolis that is New Plymouth. I saw a low functioning tradesman yell at the self service machine because he couldn't find the option for frozen coke. This is everything I wanted from my trip to McDonald's. 11/10 Also hire more floor staff, they were struggling and it's not like another $10 a hour outgoing is going to ruin your profit margin.

We had our boys 4th Birthday party here in December 2019 it was great. I recommend having birthday celebrations here as there is an indoor playground for the kids to go hard so your sorted if its a rainy day. The only downfall is they don't set up for parties anymore, like the old days, so you have to set up yourself prior to the guests arriving. Also you get a 2 hour time limit which is a good time frame but time definitely flew by. Really enjoyed being able to go home to a clean house afterwards too 👍

The in-store service is great, efficient and friendly staff, and always clean dining areas. Drive through is super efficient, but often inaccurate, and rectifying a wrong order can be a challenge.

Good place to eat, fast service. good accuracy with orders when they are busy. I like the self service checkouts way easier so see what they have on the menu. Drivethru is normally busy and is not the best design so inside always wins.

The food was good and I like that you can self serve which makes it faster, but you've also counter service if you prefer. Plus they have table delivery and they also offer uber delivery.

Good food. Fix the playground. Too high for little ones to climb. Climbing 4ft high ledges and one slide. Not good when the small kids want to play but can't.

So another trip to McDonalds...or the dinner shop as my kids seem to keep calling it. I have to say that its normally fairly hassle free at the New Plymouth restaurant. Loads of screens to order your food on, and pay at if you're battling the kids trying to establish whether it will be chicken nuggets or a burger they will be destroying and spreading over a large area this time. Good sized and separate indoor play area, separate coffee and cakes area and plenty of space to sit, including some outside seating, and always very well staffed, this makes this one a decent visit. You know what the food will be like,.its normally pretty freshly made due to the high volume of visitors and really busy drive through and often just pop in for a coffee or an ice cream. Not the cheapest place to eat but if you don't mind selecting items you can get what you want often cheaper than a meal deal..

I am sorry but it's not Gona b a positive note about my visit.. All but 1 member of staff looked hung over , there uniforms looked like they slept in them.I asked the unhappy female staff member standing in front of me this question. Excuse me but should the guys handling / making my burgers order they should be wearing gloves, her response was to look over her shoulder then back to me and said NO !! There's hand sanitizer back there they use that as it's just easier. (So I assume that old saying goes Pay peanuts and you get monkeys)

It's a nice, big Mcdonalds. Easy to get in and out of. Adequate parking. I went there for an early breakfast as left for Auckland. The Mcmuffins were up to the usual standard. That's all I really wanted. :-)
