Lovely place for Thai. Ordered the fish and red curry and both were delicious. Massive portion sizes we couldn't finish. Worth the price for the taste!

Best in New Plymouth! Worth the price. Restaurant is extremely busy but still serves food quickly! The waiters are very friendly. Traditional and authentic. Recommend the chicken with ginger. Will definitely come back.

The food here is great. We would have liked to finish the bottle of wine we ordered though before being told that the restaurant was closed at 9.20pm on a Friday. And, yes we had to pay for the bottle we weren't allowed to finish. But, the food is really good.

one of the best thai food dishes I ever had! Amazing setting, friendly staff and incredible food. The calamari is tender and the curry was perfect. the chicken cashew nut dish was brilliant made. and I love the fact that the rice comea in the shape of mt Taranaki. will go there again!

The food was great. The tase was fine and authentic. And the quality was superb. Service was friendly and nice. The place itself is large and sometimes it can be loud. It does not provide a cosy atmosphere.

We came in hungry and were not disappointed. Tried their egg net pad thai and black bean spare ribs and wow I wish we would be back another day. Those were insanely good. Been to a lot of Thai restaurants that I thought had the best pad thai until I tried theirs. Topnotch. The whole place was tidy and service was amazing. Quick order time as well. Highly recommended.

Food was filling, scrumptious and authentic. The ambience was lovely and the service was excellent. Staff and management both did really well to accommodate our needs and the children were able to enjoy the meal without any stress.

I've been to a few Thai restaurants and Siam Thai is something rather different from the rest. Most of the menu items seem to be a different take on the traditional Thai dishes, and it's a good take too as all the items we ordered were delicious.

Wonderful place. Fantastic ambiance and delicious food. The fusion thai is a very unique flavour and not one I have seen before. It works very well. Personal favourites are the green curry and the massamun curry. Highly recommended. The service is fantastic too.

Delectable delight to the tongue, the green curry is a must try! Reasonably priced and wonderfully situated close in town. Busy on a saturday night but with good reason, the food speaks for itself.

Went in for lunch at the weekend with 2 young children, the place looked posh but we were the only ones in. Prices were reasonable, and competitive. The kids had a roti chicken satay rap to share, it was really good, I had a crispy pork curry, the pork was lovely and crispy the curry was seasoned nicely but a little mild.

Interesting menu, authentic flavours, chilled out friendly service. Mussels are a must (you get 4 but I ate one before taking the photo) and cool that you can get fries & fettuccini at a Thai restaurant!

We really enjoyed our meal, but once our plates had been cleared away, we weren't approached again. We were hoping for another glass of wine, or a coffee or dessert, but no-one came. I suppose we could have alerted someone, but didn't. So eventually we left, feeling not quite satisfied.

Favourite Thai restaurant in NP. We usually takeaway, but when we eat-in the staff are very friendly. Tasty ginger chicken, love the Siam fried rice with bbq pork, so yum! And the egg net Pad Thai is awesome too. Oh and the curry puff horns are to die for, I wish they’d bring them back! The food is so fresh. Usually ready in 30mins from ordering for takeaway which is great.

This our first time here, we were expecting a decent meal, but it ended up being one of the better meal experiences we’ve had in recent memory. We split pad thai and a curry between the two of us, and it was a perfect amount. The restaurant decor is absolutely beautiful; the presentation of the food was fabulous; the flavours, textures, and temperatures were wonderful; and yet the prices were quite reasonable (though not cheap). This place is absolutely what 5 stars looks and feels like. Highly recommend!

On entering you are seduced with the aromas of the orient. Instrumental jazz music is low key in the background.The lighting is subdued and the ambience is relaxed and friendly. The decor is tasteful and transfers you to a new age orient. This restaurant is new age infusion twist on all oriental food and presented on the plate with love. The menu provides photos of each dish with an explanation. I had the Japanese salad with chilli prawns, which was really delicious but a tad too much liquid at the bottom which I had to drain. This should be done in kitchen. Pad Thai vegetarian was delicious with crunchy cashews and tasty tofu. Overall a menu to suit all taste buds in a relaxing dining area.

I beautifully presented restaurant with superb food. (I got takeaways). It was a little more than your average takeaways, but worth every cent! They helped me with gluten-free dishes and although I always choose mild, there was no lacking in flavour and they use really delicious fresh ingredients. I am already a fan!

Very tasty and gourmet Thai. The choice is wide and both our meal were yum. We had spring and summer rolls in entrée then chicken wok with vegetables and curry with cinnamon, so new and great taste with the cinnamon ! Service was kind and quick. Toilets very clean too (which often reflects the cleanness of the kitchen).
