C.This place didn't disappoint,, we were greeted with friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious. We got prawn cutlets and bbq lamb hearts to start (we wanted to be adventurous and the hearts were actually very tasty), and then had the beef cheeks and gnocci and salad for sides. The portions were huge! But oh so yummy you'll still wanna empty your plates 🤤

S.I’m not a big steak eater, but the way this steak is cooked made it super easy to eat. All of the small plate dishes were delicious. Will definitely go again.
H.The food is delicious. Flavorful, well prepared and absolutely worth it! And, there's a good selection of beverages to go along with it.
Everything we ate was delicious! But my person favorites were their roast carrots and the chicken pobleano. A side note, the pobleano was not like what we were taught and ate in Mexico, but delicious none the less! Their lamp rump was tender, their gnocchi was airy and the blue cheese in the sauce was not over powering. Their broccoli waldorf was smokey, but the best I've had.
What was off putting to us was the decor. Too many dead animal heads around the place! And, we almost didn't go due to the pictures of animals smoking on the menu. The restaurant was also loud (I guess that's the social part of the name) and very crowded with very little room between guests. I was seated well under a meter away from the person behind me. I guess that doesn't matter in the traffic light settings, but it did make me uncomfortable in this current day and age.
A.Good city eatery. Had the beef cheek and gnocchi which were 👌. Well stocked bar. Prices were Aucklund standard. Perfect to dine out on corporate account💵. May revisit.📆
H.I was told of the social kitchen by an acquantince. He really under sold it, the staff have been consistently competent and friendly on every occasion, the drinks and food superb, everything seems to run smoothly.
I am not "social" by any means. So the atmosphere is a little to my distaste, but to hamper a review with that Bias would be ridiculous.
Note: It has a class to the social aspect - it's not loud drunkards and idiocy. The name and image suit perfectly
O.Dinner in Social Kitchen felt like being in a busy Auckland or Wellington bar. I think this atmosphere is trendy. And I tickled a bison lol (wall-mounted). The food is tasty and my favourite dish was the beautiful lamb shoulder cooked in the style of the cuisine from Southern France. My side of fresh vegetables was delicious and well made. We paid prices that I'm happy with and the service was good.
