The decadent taste of beef and seafood which are New Zealand favorites were nicely displayed and served. The ladies were good in their managing all customers and the whole establishment was clean,tidy and of polite friendly welcoming. I do recommend for quick service and treated with curtsey. Great food. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The decor needs urgent attention. The netting curtains were badly ripped & stained. Furniture could be updated. The staff seemed to be concentrating on the drinks more than the food. I would return again but would like to see the restaurant updated.

I had a nice open steak sandwich with 23 friends. They took a long time to dish up all the lunches though. Everyone was happy with the food except for the roast vegetable salad which only have four pieces of vegetable. You can reduce the amount of onion on the salads. Lots of people don't or can't eat onion these days. Offer onion free salads.

My husband and I went there for lunch today, it was our wedding anniversary, Cody served us, what a wonderful ambassador for the ugly duck, made us so welcome, selected the perfect wine and the food was amazing. Our first time there, it will not be the last. Thank you Cody for making our anniversary lunch so much more special. Kay and Felix.

Went and watch the horrific AB game good local bar clean spacious with big screen to watch the game did not order any food but have restaurant attached too

A bit run down, needs a good update/clean. A few of the people in my group were complaining that the beer tasted funny, like it was "off". Food was ok, just the usual bar platters. They came out hot and were tasty. Ladies bathroom needed a good clean and the paper towel dispenser had fallen off the wall. All round, the place just feels like it needs some love. I wouldn't make the effort to go back.

I had a good lunch experience. The food was really good but the wait was a little longer than expected for the amount of people dining. Prices were fair and the staff were friendly. I'd definitely come back again.
