Great burger buns (fresh from the local bakery) and good George beer, a great combo. Also a nice view of the hakarimata hills. Right at the end of the Waikato river trail. I can recommend this place.

First timers!!!! Our beautiful Aunty (& family) brought us here tonight and straight up, no lies, PHAT PATTIES are EPIC! We're vegetarians too and their "Phat Kumes" 🍔was delicious. Full of flavour, beautiful and fresh. The buns were light and perfect. Their chips 💯🍟👌🏾 were BOMB!!!! Aioli sauce🤤.. Lovely girl who served us and the girls behind the grill were awesome too.. Such good vibes here at "Phat Patties" YOU GOTTA COME TRY IT OUT. Nice Park down by the river, good spot to chill, eat and feed the ducks xxx cannot wait to come back . We'll have to come back to try their desserts, They sold out 😭😂 Thank you for one of the BEST VEGETARIAN burgers and chips we have ever had 💯💯💯💯 10/10

these burgers are like the gourmet ones that you would buy at an expensive restaurant , really good value for money , dont know what cuts they use in the meat pattie but it is really good , i had the farmer for the second time and the mushroom is really good , almost impossible to get a good fish burger so i hope they add that to the menu next

Amazing burger. One of the best I've had in a long time. Was a Phat Shruum Burger. Lovely, friendly and fast service. Worth a detour to support local people with passion for their food instead of souless American owned chains on SH1.

Stopped here for dinner on the basis of online reviews, great decision! Excellent burgers, and a generous portion of fries, enough for the whole family. Kids rated the Phat Kid, the Farmer is tasty, and the Shroom is delightfully mushroomy. Quick convenient and delicious, well worth the stop heading north or south. And only 100m from a playground.

We got the Mac and Shroom burgers. Just brilliant. Great flavour, fresh pattie, nice portion, cheap price and friendly service. Good thing these guys are in Ngaruwahia because if they were in the metros that will be the end of Burgerfuel.

Well well well, came across this cheeky little burger shack. Ordered Phat Cheese and a Phat Kumes (Kumara). Quick and fresh. Tasty and gone in a flash with hungry boys. Great service and even got to sample a new recipe. Nice seating area. Keep up the great work.

First time experience - ordered the Shroom burger. Big portion (especially the portobello mushrooms), tasty fillings & bun. However, the burger became soggy after eating (10 mins after) & got to a point of seperating the burger to eat it. Chips were good too!
