Since moving to oamaru we have tried most fish and chip shops. And all disappointed. Until we tried Eden street. Wow. Best in town by far. Burgers have super fresh fillings. Servings are generous. Especially chip portion. Everything cooked perfect. Not overcooked like many places we've tried. We have finally found our fish and chip shop. Well done team. Yum!!!!!

One of the best takeaway fish and chip shops about. Very fresh LARGE piece of cod. Excellent menu catering for all tastes. Well priced. Will call again when in the area

Firstly check before wasting your time driving there and finding she hasn't even bothered opening. When she gets things right they are ok, otherwise be prepared for soggy batter and sometimes missing an item or two. Frustrating as she never get the prices wrong, just the orders.

Typical takeaway offering a limited selection of chinese food, and also typical fish n chip type fried foods. Has a mini pool table to pass the time while food is cooked. Food is ok for your local corner takeaway.

One of the young Chinese workers (Sunny, I think it was) was very polite and offered great service the fish and spring rolls was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious, the chips were yum to but could offer different flavour salts to get even more business but still the best fish and chips in town.

Had blue cod one night and beef and cashews another night great meal.plenty meat vegee and nuts. Generous serving Would definately recogmend this place.
