Went for a meal then black light ten pin bowling. We enjoyed our meals and the staff was friendly. People that I spoke to were uncertain that it was open. Well it is and doing great. Would recommend going here. Loved the 10 pin bowling and it's cheaper on Thursdays only $7 per game.

Most of the food was delicious, though the fries were barely edible. Ten pin bowling after was fun especially once the Black Light special came into effect. Would love to visit again next time in town

Fun place, called in due to our event been rained off, so was rather popular. Wait staff and bowling staff were super helpful and were able to accommodate us during a busy period. Missed out on a star due to the near 90min wait on our food order but did find out they were short staffed in the kitchen which sucks but eating a full lunch at the same time you are meant to be bowling is an art in itself. Will be back 🙂

Drove an hour for a night out dinner and bowling, while the meals were delicious we waited an hour for them! We then had 2 games of ten pin bowling which is fun. 9.30 on a saturday we wanted a drink and to play the pokies, a very rude lady kicked us out as they were closing! All the other staff were very friendly.

Stopped by to stretch our legs and have dinner with family. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. Offered a toy box and coloured pencils for the kids. Food was very good too. Noticed the place has a restaurant, 10-pin bowling and a gaming lounge.

Helpful friendy staff and really enjoyed the meal, the only thing i could moan about would be the temperature, could have been just alittle warmer

Very nice food stopped off travelling between Dunedin and Christchurch. Enjoyed the meal.

Food was really nice, staff were really friendly BUT the food took ages nearly an hour. We ordered kids first and they even took ages to come out. Which is a shame. One staff member offered a bowling lane for the kids so we could eat our meal Which was really nice. So 5 star for service 5 star for food but 1 star for wait time.

My favourite local restaurant and pub. Nice cozy atmosphere, always clean and tidy, they play awesome tunes in the background, games to entertain the kids, the staff are always helpful and lovely, food is delicious and great value for money. I dont think I've been able to finish a meal yet, always leave full and happy. 10/10, every time! Keep up the great work guys.👍

This place was pretty cool but it needs maintenance badly. The bowling lanes kept breaking. Laser tag was fun.

Great place that one may drive past!! The food and service is good, had the toasted sandwich and was good. Great stop for adults and kids for sure. The fun zone for kids is a treat!! Nice friendly staff. Will be back!

Man what an awesome atmosphere for family and couples to be at .we had the best service and food top staff made us feel right at home .food was so worth the money we got the shanks and bacon covered chicken couple of beers and a wine for just over a hundred bucks to me that's well worth the money.when we come back to oamaru we definitely will bring our whole family cheers guys

Not only being close to where we live , within walking distance, we tend to eat and drink there enjoying the good company, atmosphere, service, and food. It also offers plenty for families to enjoy, laser tag and ten pin bowling, and the pokies for the gambler.

This place was a pleasant surprise that is definitely 5 stars for the food, staff caliber and entertainment for the kids - 10 pin bowling, laser strike and a few arcade types games.

Rocket lanes is awesome, great service clean, tidy facility, just remember to bring some extra cash for refreshments, my only complaint was that a jug of coke was 13 bucks.

Great fun for all ages

I had the parmesan herb crusted chicken and my husband had the beef filo mains tonight and they were perfect, awesome friendly service at a great price. We will definitely be back. Cheers Jackie and Leslie

Staff very friendly and accommodating especially with our little ones so that's a huge bonus and thumbs up 👍 Service and food were excellent and the kids had great fun bowling. Highly recommend and is a credit to Oamaru :)

We came to oamaru for a couple of games of rugby but stayed an extra couple of days. This place is the best place for drinks/ tea/ tenpin bowling/ pool. A great place to entertain your brats! Meals were amazing especially the all- you- can- eat on Saturday night. The boys all left stuffed, which is not an easy thing to do with this lot!! Would definitely visit again and recommend it to all!! Staff was friendly, happy and helpful!!

Real good food and games

Great complex with things to do for all ages. Staff are friendly and fast when it comes to filling up the pokie machines. Haven't had a meal here for ages but the food rolling out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing.

Nice place to take the family bowling. Lanes and equipment recently updated. Bar snacks served in the bowling alley, and the restaurant is good if you want a full meal.

Had a fantastic night out at the Galleon. It was our work do, we had amazing food, played Tenpin bowling, then a little Karaoke. Great staff and great atmosphere.

Had a child's birthday party the staff were very accommodating and the food was great and fantastic value for money. Bowling was awesome kids all had a wonderful time.

This is a nice place to spend time bonding with friends and family or to knock the kids boredom on the head. Clean and modern bowling alleys , bar and dining available, nice staff too.

Has been done up since last here,good value for money and liked the amenities have recommended it to a couple of people.The hot chocolates were quite expensive at $6.50 but they were quite big.

The galleon has a very impressive gluten free menu. It was a huge meal and wasnt expensive. I was very very happy. Will definitely eat there again. 🖒

Arrived late in the evening however staff went the extra mile and prepared fresh vegetables with my roast, and the sticky date pudding was great.
