It's ok. Coffee was great, food was very underwhelming. Seemed like they were very short staffed. Would be very cute in winter

I’m a local gal, and this was my first time at OCR!! Me & my boyfriend were searching for something chill and relaxing as we were hung over…. and this gem was hidden in plain sight! We had the OCR burger, and eggs Benedict, and mochas!! Omg the coffee!! 😍 We throughly enjoyed our meals and coffee! We definitely will be back!

Could do with a tidy up outside.Meals a bit small for price and just warm,we're a bit under staffed which probably contributed to wait times.

The service was friendly and quick... although it should've been as there were no customers ahead of us. The food and drinks were good.

Staff always friendly. Great coffee great selection of food. Brownie here is to die for the best I have ever had. Lovely children's play area.

Homely and welcoming place. Food was good portion size and fresh. We had to sit outside as we bought our dog with us for lunch, which wasn't a problem until we realised there were quite a lot of wasps flying around, nearly stung our pup!

OCR is a must vist any time your in ohakune, the food is always great and the coffee is too!

Great coffee, friendly staff and beautiful food! Such a great atmosphere especially over winter with the log fire warming the spacious dining area. Over summer there is plenty of outdoor seating and its dog friendly! They also do night service with a great selection of kiwi wines and craft beers! YUM!

Fantastic service, friendly staff, yummy food and coffee! Great to see a small business maintaining quality even in stressful times with the virus. Came in for breakfast this morning with a group and could not fault a thing. Best brownie ever!

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Burger very good and tasty, food was good quality overall. Some meals were stone cold (poached eggs, toast and bacon all cold). Some pancakes raw in middle. But worth a visit.

What a wonderful wee cafe nestled so close to the mountain entrance road! Close to bus pick ups! Perfect place to stop for a coffee while we waited for our bus! Lovely staff! Food was on point! Warm with the fire blasting! - if you want fast friendly service this is the place to be guys!

We have tried most restuarants in Ohakune and really enjoyed our dinner here. Perfectly cooked and great value.

Lovely atmosphere and wonderful service. Food was delicious and it was awesome to see staff supported to have their families around. Super good experience, will definitely be coming back.

Stopped in on Saturday with friends before a wicked day on the mountain and staff were so friendly and chatty. I had the eggs beni with salmon and my god it was delicious! Would definitely reccomend anyone if they are looking for a substantial meal to keep them going for the day. Will be back!

This place is superb! Excellent service and quality. The children’s area was entertaining for the kids especially since we were such a big group and kids are so easily bored. The staff really know how to keep customers happy, definitely will return.

Very warm and welcoming, only ordered a coffee and a steak but absolutely loved the theme of the place... fire blazing, good customer service.. KEEP IT UP GUYS

Warmth, not only in temperature but also hospitality and good food, and really good coffee!! Located at the base of Mt Ruapehu, it's a good place to get warm after a day of skiing!!

Best garlic bread I've had in ages. Really nice meals and the service was really friendly. Also the apple crumble is yum

Overpriced and average quality food. Go for nachos and a beer after skiing. Don't aim for a fine dining experience. Lovely setting though and helpful wait staff.

We enjoyed a delicious winter's lunch of Ohakune Carrot Soup and ciabatta with a bowl of fries and aioli. Accompanied by a crisp Mata BOP Lager, it made for a truly satisfying meal.
