Very old historic building with a load of character. Friendly local staff and a great restaurant serving a very generous Irish Pub meal, also an extensive Indian Menu. Good value!

The Irish pub has a great vibe and are very welcoming, and the food is pretty good! They also have an Indian menu as well as general pub food. Came here two nights in a row! Staff are friendly and fun, too!

Masonic Hotel Opotiki Quaint little irish pub in the heart of Opotiki township. Provides a large selection of drinks and cocktails, RTD's and top shelf spirits at the bar, Has Sky TV playing most nights and is usually quiet. The restaurant out the back has a small menu which can vary night-to-night with a specials blackboard each night showing good deals. Food served is quintessential pub grub such as steak eggs and chips or surf 'n' turf. Deserts are lacking with most of them coming from a box out of the freezer. Overall not a bad place to eat.

The quality of food is incredibly good. The chef there must have very high standards. My wife and I often go there when we visit Opotiki and we are always impressed with the food, the friendly staff and the very reasonable prices.

The staff here is very hospitable and helpful and also very friendly they even taught me to cook the rooms are modest there is a bar and an awesome restaurant downstairs as well as a T.A.B and a gaming lounge meals at the restaurant are epic and beautiful I have been here a month now I am ready to leave I don't want to leave because I have made new friends here with the staff I would definitely stay again.

Hired out entire bar for a 21st birthday. They provided everything that we could ever need including dj, beer on tap, complete bar, snacks, pool table, darts, convenient smoking area, pokies, coutesy rides to accomodation if not staying at the Masonic accom and a live all blacks game. Hats off to the owners!
