My favourite dining place in town. Always greeted by a warm friendly smile by the lady boss. There is always a great variety of well priced fresh sushi and other japanese treats. My favourite being the pork bun which clearly reminds me of home. One distinctive feature of the shop is that all the legs of all the chairs sit on tennis balls...a clever way to prevent scratches on the floor and definitely one of a kind in New Zealand.

Best sushi we’ve had in ages. Love the self service so you can choose as much as you like from the great variety. Ginger, wasabi and soy all available to add at your convenience.
