Delicious Pizza! We tried a range of food while staying in Paihia and bought these 2 pizzas. The kid rock and the Salmon and cream cheese pizza. The best salmon pizza ever! Even though it doesn't look amazing it definitely tasted amazing. Nice thin, slightly crispy base. Partner and kids loved their pizza and it was the first thing to go. Every time I come back I'll be getting me a pizza.

Delicious pizza, delicious pizza. The ice tea was more than expected! The staffs were kind and friendly.

We called in for lunch and we ordered pizza and a beer and Coke Zero. The Coke Zero was flat and they opened 3 cans before realising was out of date. The owner Manager was so apologetic and he offered a free Corona beer as a thank you. The pizza in this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, the service was great and most of all they wanted to make up for the soft drink issue. I can’t speak high enough if the people and food here, come and enjoy the best pizza in Paihia

Very novel Pizza place. They have a handful of pre-designed pizzas, but they also let you design your own pizza. Unlike most design your own pizza options at other restaurants you are definitely not being stiffed on price or toppings here. Their pizzas also come in a selection of sizes. Hoping to come back and try their meter long size. They also have other items/sides on the menu. But the pizza was definitely the star of our visit. Staff are also extremely friendly and full of suggestion. If you even remotely like pizza you will like this place!

We ordered the Genesis (seafood) and the Big Salmon and they we're both so delicious. We especially enjoyed the salmon one. Staff were so friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend.

Found this place disappointing. Temperature inside was way to hot, and the service was poor. The pizza itself was okay. This is a good place to feed the whole family if you are wanting to share the biggest pizza they make, which serves six, and they are okay with you ordering a half and half so you don't have to have it all the same. If they can up the service and add an air conditioner to make the inside temp acceptable this place would be much better.

Best tasting pizza I have ever had and trust me I'm a pizza lover. Would drive up to Paihia from Auckland just to have some custom made Pizza Shack. Lovely and friendly team

Great pizza, on Mondays you can get large with 5 toppings for $20. A large Good George beer is $9 and salad runs about $13. All fresh, great ingredients I just wish they had some olive oil dip or garlic butter sauce.

Went here mid evening after finding most restaurants in town closed but this bar and pizza hut. The beer was excellent as were the seafood and vegan pizza. A real surprise were the double fried red Kumara.

Good easy food. Took the kids here for pizza at 12.30pm they had a DYI pizza and we had the chicken, seafood, shoestring frys, onion rings and jalapeño bites all where great! Toilets where clean, and seating was fine. Will go again forsure.

GENEROUS portions of chips which I always appreciate. Good pizza too! I made a Vegan pizza (BBQ, vegan cheese, and veg on top). It was very good! My friends’ pizzas also looked good. Pricy, but a good place to meet dietary needs.

I tried the Mexican pizza. It was really good, good cheese, good dough not not thick, the service was also good, friendly and professional. Will go back to try another.

Fabulous place, food is delicious, most definitely the yummiest pizza I have ever eaten! The space could be used better as there wasn't very much room for a lot of people, but overall good experience.

I'm a huge pizza fan. I had the seafood one, called Genesis. It was fantastic!!! Loved it from the first bite to the last one. Nice view from the pizzeria as well.

One of the best option of having pizza in Paihia. I had medium size vegetarian real Blondie pizza which was quite good in taste and rich with veggies. The customer service was good and location is great as you can see beach and enjoy pizza.

Excellent location on the main road and facing the see. Friendly and helpful staff. We have ordered the spaghetti Bolognaise for the children. The children love the spaghetti so much that they finished all the spaghetti and left the beef. We want to order an extra plain spaghetti and the staff were happy to do that.

Very nice little café with outdoor seating looking towards the bay, the coffee here is very good, I have visited a few times. Eaten here just the once and it was also pretty good. They serve a breakfast menu until 11am then onto a lunch menu throwing out some good looking and tasting pizzas.

Good price and size for a yummy pizza. Sauce on my meat pizza was moorish.

The Kumura chips were insanely good. Pizzas were fine, the bases could have been a bit more crispy on the underside, but we enjoyed them. Thanks

For a nicely crafted pizza this spot is definitely worth a visit, the range of ingredients is good. Gluten free options are available which is good. Size wise median for a pizza lover like me was not quite big enough but the flavor and the friendliness of the bar staff would make it definitely somewhere I go too again and again. Imagine you are in a new place and feeling very hungry. You find a restaurant with the sea views and they serve the best pizza in the town!! What a satisfying feeling that is. You guys are doing an excellent job maintaining the place well. Pizza was super delicious!! Definitely visiting again.

A delicious pizza and wonderful garden salad. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. No complaints. Would go back. Also loved the selection of sauces to dip your pizza in. Also the Pilsner on tap was superb.

We enjoyed a large ham and pineapple pizza takeaway from Pizza Shack conveniently situated in the heart of Paihia in the Bay of Islands. You can make up your own pizza by choosing 4 ingredients of your choice and handing your order in. You can also eat in if you choose and see what other items are on the menu. We only had to wait 15 minutes for our pizza to be ready and it was wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Really grateful to the staff here for kindly catering towards various dietary requirements. Have eaten gluten/dairy free pizza here twice now, once with a celiac family member and greatly enjoyed both times. Delicious pizza base and good amount of toppings. We came here for breakfast and were incredibly impressed. They were really busy but they kept everything moving. The food was really really good, and my husband was so thrilled with the quality of his long black that he ordered another one after his meal!

DELICIOUS pizzas. My sister ordered seafood and i, chicken with smoked bacon. We’re not pizza fans; though, we wanted to try something different. We were not disappointed. The pizzas went down fairly quickly. I will most definitely recommend this place to friends and family when coming to Paihia. Will also recommend to order a large if a big eater like myself. Kids loved creating there own pizza.. I chose creamy garlic base sauce, lamb and roast vege toppings with mint jelly.. Soo good. Portion sizes were average.. finished with a smoothie and shake which the kids were happy with.. we will be back next time were up there.

My family of 4 popped in here while on a Northland holiday, filling time waiting for a ferry to Russell. One of us ordered pasta, the rest pizza, as takeaway. The pasta was excellent, but the pizzas in particular were exceptional. You could really taste the flavours of the toppings rather than having them swim in too much sauce. The subtle flavouring of the chicken was divine. We have had a few gourmet pizzas in our time, but these were without a doubt the best pizzas we have ever had.

Curled fries were really good, and this place has the best mexicano pizza i ever had

Great staff. Nice and warm and great atmosphere. The food was divine. I had the Salmon and Spinach Eggs Benedict. It was great value and absolutely divine. We will return!!

Pizza was very good. Takeaway. From other reviews elsewhere it seems this place is great until they get busy, and then everything falls apart. It was not busy when I went. The table I sat at while waiting was really sticky, which wasn't pleasant.

Very nice environment, we went here in winter so it was quiet and seemed good space to sit, the service was good. The pizza was beautiful (we ordered the vegetarian option, I think it was called Blondie, without onion as I don't eat onion), we ordered the large option for two people. Very good mozzarella cheese. They also serve drinks (beer/wine) which was very nice. Highly recommended.

Table a bit sticky, so were the menus. Music loud, not my style, and clips playing on tv which is never nice for a restaurant. But the pizzas were impressive. Good quality of ingredients used. Good combination for some really tasty pizzas. Thin enough dough, well cooked as needed. I have not had this good a pizza for some time in NZ.

I loved the service. The pizzas were Abit pricey for our budget but it was great. Pizza boxes were good for shelter too and they let me and my homeless friends sit outside their shop and talked to us 10/10 would recommend

We were looking for a place to have dinner after a long drive from Cape Reinga but were not finding any. It was the only place open till 10 pm. We are glad this was the only one because we had the chance to try their yummy pizza. This pizza reminded me of home. The yummiest pizza I ever had in New Zealand

Went there for breakfast. Really nice coffee. Veggie stack with poached egg and holondaise was OK but probably wouldn't order again as the holondaise had a weird taste and texture. Keen to try their pizzas though

It was ok, missing two toppings we ordered but as it was a takeaway not really worth going back. Not really good value for money, it was not bad nor was it brilliant. Nice flavour and plenty of toppings that we chose.

Literally the only thing that stopped the pizza shack getting a 5 is how un clean it was. We have been here a few times and will definitely be back. They just need to work on the cleaning!

Good pizza - medium size is quite a decent serving. Lasagne was good, but not amazing. Our son designed his own pizza and was very happy with it. Service was friendly. Good prices.

Some of the best pizza we've ever tasted in New Zealand. "The Footy" at $48 is good value for the area and feeds 4. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for a tasty pizza.

This was probably the best pizza I have ever had. It was tasty and fresh, not full of oil which mad it feel and taste healthier. The atmosphere is quite loud when busy with a cacophony of different noises so if it is busy and you are looking for a relaxed place, this probably isn't the place. However, the food certainly outways that. One thing that I didn't like was that you need to go to the bar to order drinks. We had one drink at the start and would have had more but were put off by having to go up and down as we were enjoying our food. I feel the restaurant loses money in this way as we probably would have had another two drinks each if we had been asked. This is my personal opinion though. Pay attention to the pizza sizes displayed on the back wall, the medium is quite small but the girl taking our order did point this out and we went for the footy. It was huge but still tasted amazing the next day since we brought the leftovers home. I would highly recommend this place, they just lost one star from me because of the drink service

Our burgers we had at the Pizza Shack was AMAZING. Thats the fish burger and beef burger tastiest we have eaten on a very long time. Would highly recommend to anyone,,and will go back again and again👍👍

Really good food and service. It only took 10 minutes to get our food and I wasn't disappointed. Me and my homeless friends thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality and the pizza boxes were a really good seat to sit on. Would recommend.

Fantastic food but they need more staff to cope with the numbers. Big negative was the absolutely terrible music. Tween pop music when all the clientele were adults or families with younger children.

Was in Paihia and tried the Pizza Shack. Being from the U.S this was my spot! I ate there every meal. The food was delicious and I loved the variety of pizza there. The girl at the counter was helpful in picking me a good NZ draught beer as well. Never did get to try the Cheeky Chook pizza. Perhaps a return trip? Thanks again see you soon.

OMG the pizzas are amazing, honestly it’s by far the nicest I’ve ever had , we ended up going back 2 days later for a couple more, and a dozen spicy buffalo wings..

Customised pizzas were very delicious and well cooked. Base was very crispy and amazing

Delicious food, friendly service, lovely setting. I came in rather late in the evening, which could've been an inconvenience as the restaurant winds down, but the staff were so accommodating and I felt very welcome, which isn't always the case in Paihia eateries. I was extremely impressed with the food, (had 2 pizzas) they clearly put a lot of care into it and it is without a doubt, the best pizza place in Pahia.

Very good food. No waiter service , tables and chairs needed a bloody good clean. But the pizza and fettucine were great.

I visited this spot during my Northland trip. I must say, they have a good selection of craft beers here. We had a pizza and a Calzone and it was too yum! The wait staff was very polite, friendly and had done great customer service skills. Would definitely visit this place again in my next trip and would highly recommend! Cheers

Price and size of pizzas and pasta alright Pizza menu says 'Mozzarella' but not sure if it's even 'real' cheese, quite fatty but will Def fill you if you are hungry

Omg! one of the best pizzas I have had in recent days. Got a gourmet pizza made my selective options and it just melted through as i ate, the staff were super friendly and seems to be very happy and help out if you need some suggestions.

Pizza was FANTASTIC! Awesome sauce, and the wings were awesome too. Would come again when in Paihia without a doubt.

Not bad but certainly not great. Salad was again ,neither bad not great as was the pizza. Topping generous nicely cooked and tasty without being outstanding. Certainly good to fill you up when hungry. Although i see many positive comments about the service, we noted it was almost non existant. Stony faced waitress was a little abrupt when taking our order at the bar and had no personality or spoke other than required. She brought our meals to the table which well took their time and announced the dish and nothing else. We were left alone entirety after that. Restaurant was not even half full when we visited but i felt service was somewhat slow. At one extended point i noted 6 tables that sat uncleared before one of the kitchen staff brought out an order and started clearing 3 of them. Never saw the waitress smile once or engage with any customers. Not rude but certainly not welcoming or friendly. Unfortunate because a bit of effort in that respect would make a big difference. Decore is ok although 3 people sitting on a single table does not work. Pizza came out on a huge wooden platter that literally was 3/4 the size of the table which made everything else a balancing act and somewhat uncomfortable. Even 2 people on a small table would be difficult. Prices were middle of the road as was everything else. I would say they place is good for a feed but not a dining experience. Then again, thats probably the market its aimed at but it could be more. 6/10 from me.

Came in on a Wednesday for their $10 specials. Medium pizza with 5 toppings for 10 bucks, and garlic knots and a beer for 10. What more could you want? Pizza was delicious and well cooked, and the beer on tap is great too. Highly recommended any day of the week.

Had breakfast this morning. My husband loved the eggs Benedict. I had bacon and eggs. Bacon could have been crisper but eggs were cooked runny just how they should be.

Had a salmon pizza with Asparagus,cream cheese & salmon on.Good price.Perfect place to go in paihia if you want gourmet pizza.A nice option of choosing own special toppings to make your ideal pizza.Beer available too & chilled water provided which I found a welcoming touch on a hot summers day.Staff were friendly & my 4 year old son liked being entertained by the friendly bar maid.Across road from waterfront.Central.Great location.

I loved this restaurant because of it's great pizza, fries and burgers. Although, to order you must walk up to the counter, which reminds me of a fast food restaurant.

Various music videos are shown on several screens and the pizza is delicious. The ribbon noodles with mushrooms and chicken are also recommended. (Original) Ich war drei Nächte in Paihia und drei mal im Pizza Shack. Nettes Personal, fast direkt am Meer, die Preise sind ok und es ist total süß eingerichtet. Auf mehreren Bildschirmen laufen abwechslungsreiche Musikvideos und die Pizza ist super lecker. Auch zu empfehlen sind die Bandnudeln mit Pilzen und Chicken.
