I've been on the road 3 days and was in need of a good healthy feed. Ordered beef chop suey and it is one of the best meals I've ever eaten. 100% perfectly done. Oh and extraordinary great prices with friendly service, but you probably already know that if you've been here before.

We get Chinese food here often and the quality is generally very good but on this particular night it was below par as the food was lacking flavor. The quantity was the same but just lacking taste. It was very busy at the time so if this had anything to do with it I'm not sure. I will go back again as this is the first time this has happened in the 20 odd years I have been a customer.

The ice cream here comes highly recommended for just $2.50 for two scoops and the server might feel generous, as in my case, and give you a small bit of a third flavor to taste for free. Great quality, very yummy. A great pit stop on a road or bus trip.

The food was beautiful. I had garlic chicken and hubby had the sweet and sour pork. Food was fresh, tasty and hot and so well priced. Large meals. Don't be fooled by the decor.....we will most definitely go back.

Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. I enjoyed the place thoroughly and the services provided. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.

Standard take-away place. If you're after something fast for the drive it has an extensive selection, mainly of the deep-fried variety. If you have time try the other dishes, the prep and cooking is quite fast.

Cheap and cheerful. Friendly pitstop along state Highway 1 that provides the usual cafe fare, plus chips, fried chicken and an assortment of other dishes should you choose to eat in. If driving from Wellington to Auckland (or the other way) it's a convenient place to fill up, grab a bite, and stretch the legs.
