J.My favourite place to go for Mexican food, so far I've tried the chicken quesadilla, packed with flavor and the sauces that come with it just complete the meal so nicely, I've also tried the chicken fajitas and they were delish but I feel like they should come with a side of fries or something as its not very filling, Taco Bell use to be my favourite until I came here haha you guys are awesome
M.Wow!!! That was so delicious omg ! Huge difference! That was 100% perfect meal. Fresh, tasty, so good. The loaded fries was spot on, the steak perfectly cooked, guacamole was fresh and so yum, the burritos were probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. Haha after the meal, my husband said his pants is too tight now. Will definitely order again next week sometime. A++++
O.Oh my gosh what can I say?? Soooo YUM!!! Really nice staff and the food is amazing! I loved my quesadilla and tacos and my partner loved his burrito and tacos! Best in town! Would recommend 😊
T.Had heard good things regarding Garcia’s food but unfortunately the two tacos I ordered weren’t to my liking as expected hard shells but were only soft and near impractical to pick up in hand without contents falling out. Service was friendly enough 👍 heard their nachos are to die for so will give another go when got time ✅
D.Solid Mexican food for an affordable price but not ideal for a sit down meal as it was a bit cool in the winter. Otherwise, good taste and affordable. We ordered the nachos, chilli cheese fries, and burrito (plus a soda to share) for $30

D.Had a decent burrito and the jalapeño poppers were delish. Worth checking out if you feel like Mexican as the service was quick and the team running the place are really friendly. They have vegetarian options which I had, and I enjoyed, but it was cheesy and plenty of sour cream so be aware. Not sure if they do full vegan but they seemed like they'd do it for you if you asked. Price was good to, about 11 bucks for my burrito I think.

L.My family had Mexican at home the other day, so I went for the burger. And what a burger! It was amazing, especially for the price!! The fries are good/average, which is good enough for me. The churros are perfect.

C.1st time visiting this restaurant today. I am a real nachos girl and was very very happy! Beautiful fresh food with a salsa to die for! Price matches the size of the plate. Definitely felt like I was getting my moneys worth. I will be back.
N.Cheap eats on the banks of the river. Nice views and friendly staff. Good selection of menu items that are priced well. Not the best Mexican food I've eaten but it was perfect for a quick dinner. Would visit again. We tried the trio of tacos and beef burrito.

My husband is from Chile so it was lovely watching him enjoy a meal that brings so many happy memories for him. M.Went here for the third time last night. The good is consistently great and fresh, they'll cater to practically any level of spicy you like, the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and we always have a great time. Can't recommend it enough!

T.One of my favorite places to eat in Wanganui. I have particular dietary requirements and the staff not only cater for these, but remember what they are. They also let me know when there a new things on the menu/ in stock that I can have. The staff are super friendly. I admire that they are always looking to grow and expand and that they really value there customers and make an effort with every customer that walks in the door, from what I've seen. They also have awesome specials most days that they post on their Facebook page, making there already very decent pricing even better. Couldn't recommend enough. My friends and I tend to eat here at least once a week.
L.Had our Xmas function last night at Gracias. Had the platters with a price per head. BEAUTIFUL FOOD! And there was plenty to fill us up. The Churros were yum! The service was fantastic and I would recommend it if you have a group. Thank you!

J.As an American living abroad I miss Mexican food more than anything else edible. Whereas they have lots of room to grow it's still delicious and I now try to drop by at least once a week while staying in NZ to get my Mexican food fix.
The menu is small but I understand that most Kiwis wouldn't know what enchiladas are so that may be hard to sell here. They are also a new business and I'm sure they will grow and slowly introduce more foods over time.
I give them 5 stars for their willingness to open up a good mexican restaurant in a desert of international cuisine. #buildbridgesnotwalls
