We think they are the best takeaways in the Tararua region. Huge yummy burgers 🍔 and lovely chippy chips. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic pitt stop en route to Hawkes Bay great service and extremely tasty well priced kai. Nō wonder it is so popular.

Absolurely delightful. We were too early so called into pukaha then to kiwi kai. Tasty fish put into batter in front of your nose...fresh as. Large pieces.sometimes get little extra fish. Hamburgers made by them not brought in and friend absolutely delighted with his burger. Other friends had called in returning from p.n. and also loved their huge burger. Informed opened at 4. Chips really pleasant not burnt or dry. Well worth a stop. Fish/chips especially appreciated in cardboard container. Doesnt drop easily on lap. Great place to stop for takeaways. And as for the potatoe fritters. Primo. Cold drinks also. Service with a smile and at times a chat. Highly recommended.

Had Ryli's for the first time tonight. Yum as, good quality meat in our burgers, clearly not from frozen. Portions are large especially for the price. Two sizeable fish filets in the fish burger. Nice juicy venison steak cooked just right in the venison burger. Chips were crunchy and not oily. I think I've found my new favorite takeaway.

Our go to Friday night takeaways. Really good value for money, so reasonably priced and the food is awesome. The chip volume is massive, one scoop serves a family of three or four.

AWESOME !!!!! superb chips cooked to perfection. not greasy soggy shyte that others peddle Kiwi owners, a refreshing change!! (very nice people as a bonus) Generous proportions and delicious fish Best we have found so far and well worth the trip from Masterton Thanks guys!!!

Best fish & chips shop in NZ!!! Couldn't recommend enough. Patties are home made and delicious. Chips are crispy and not oily.

Loved it, Ryan and Lisa have some of the best customer service I've had in a while, it's great to see friendly faces and to see your order cooked right then and there in front of you, and none of this frozen out of a box burgers either, absolutely delicious. Keep up the good work guys

I've been trying to find good fish and chips in the Wairarapa...still can't find it, but I'll travel to Eketahuna for these ones!! Crunchy chips, amazing fresh tasty fish and the best humongous burgers. They are a must try!!
