J.This place is perfect to make a stop on your way. You can have a coffee and a sandwich for $10 and even a shower for $6 extra. The toilets are clean and the local is well decorated with a huge collections of pens.

Four of us really enjoyed a meal here while on weekend away. the steaks were an excellent size-not to large! cooked to perfection ! the garlic bread was excellent as was the service from the attentive, friendly staff. our meals all came out in a reasonable time. the chips and salad sides were also great. we look forward to visiting again.
S."Great Burger"
We thought this place looked good as were just looking for a relaxed meal and burger and chips hit the mark. We had two Beef Burger and Egg Burger. Both were really tasty and came with massive Burger buns and Chips. Staff were lovely and served us quickly. We also got cafe slice to takeaway, that was tasty. Great relaxed cafe serving good food.

E.'GREAT STEAK
we had a steak meal and i was not disappointed-it was cooked to perfection -and struggled to finish my meal. the staff were friendly and polite. All in all, i know my colleagues each enjoyed their meals as well. i would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to family and friends.
T.Butter chicken was amazing 10/10!! Serious flavour, well presented - best butter chicken I've ever had.
Also got some onion rings, which were a bit average - but who cares when it's served beside that beautiful creamy deliciousness!!
I will definitely be back and bring my gf so she can also lose her mind about it!!
E.Nice stopover on the highway. Had the scotch steak; got a generous serving of meat (slightly overdone) with a mushroom sauce, fries and fresh veggies. Also had a Hawaiian pizza (lots of ham and pineapples) and a seafood chowder (creamy with generous amounts of prawns and mussels). Not a good selection of coffee but what they had was nice.
C.Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. I enjoyed the place thoroughly and the services provided. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.
U.Great place! Stopped there with my friends on our way to Wellington. Ordered coffee, pizzas and burgers. Delicious food! Awesome atmosphere, what a huge collection of pens.. We will definitely come back here.

F.Great food and service, we had a meatlovers pizza and it was full of ingredients, without empty spaces like other places, very tasty! Good coffee too. Warm place and clean bathrooms. The price a bit expensive but good food.

G.Great little cafe in the Heart of Waiouru with over 95 thousand pens on it's walls and over 250 thousand in the collection. It is a Fascinating place to take photo's of. Friendly and helpful staff FYI = One of them gave me 2 free cans of drink when I gave them a special pen from The Weta Cave while she was loading the drink fridge. Pizza was good though if you are in a hurry just realize it does take 15-20 mins to cook.
