Food is good as usual but the dining hall had 2 signs of open and close at the same time. Please don't waste people's time guys.

I was about to rag on them for being the worst McCafe in the Bay due to their horrid & inconsistent coffee I was getting from them since they changed hands earlier in the year...but then I get the one person that seems to love dirty chai as much as I! They made me the golden standard of coffee/chai blend for me! I expect it will be a hit or miss when wanting a coffee from here but today was an absolute hit!

You can get an actual bucket of hot chocolate here for just $4! Even with Almond milk (no extra cost) and 2 Jaffa’s! There is a really good English guy that works here, I think he may be the manager.

Drive through boy was awesome super polite and could have a conversation with the rest of the staff look like they hate there job and put in minimal effort.... hence the photo.... I order large and this is how much they fill it...

Went here around 11:00am 25th of May, the person taking our order in the drive thru was super nice and all around positive. Came up to the window to pay, smile on their face just really great service. Then we drove up to the second window to get out food, which was ready instantaneously. I was even more surprised with the quality of our order, well made and everything was so fresh, still hot to the touch. Really great McDonald's, haven't experienced one like this, clearly a solid team working here.

It's a good Maccas, staff are welcoming and friendly, there has been a staff member to greet customers entering and advising on using the touchscreen menu systems and other facilities. Great indoor play area for the kids with family seating. Play area could do with cleaning a little more often, simply on a few occasions my little'un has brought out old wrapper from inside the play facility and food left in there too 😬

Lovely place.. unfortunately the last time there another diner made the visit less pleasant... so called adult spitting and throwing food... drinking alcohol at the table he was sitting at and making rude gestures and unwanted comments either to himself or other guests... I would have thought management would have removed him from this usually family environment 🤔.... but I wont let this one individual deter me from still recommending the restaurant

McDonald's Papamoa has a great location in the heart of Papamoa Plaza. The prices are cheap. The food at the McDonald's is tasty. If you want good value buy a full meal at McDonald's.

Disappointed in the two order lanes, as we sat and watched three cars order on the lane opposite is, so eventually proceeded to window and placed order. Hot drink from cafe was Luke warm, seriously Luke warm so had to go inside and change it. Then when our order of food arrive to the car they forgot the hash browns, when we did eventually get them, they were cold and falling apart, so just drove off, as was gettingto the point of going in the secondtime...hangry. Ice cream cones last night were miniatures, so on the whole, not on the normal standards. Not impressed sorry

It was quite busy so the crew were doing pretty well. The food was fresh and usually when the fries are served they are nearing their life span in any Macdonald's you visit. But at the Papamoa Macdonald's the fries were also fresh. The toilets were dirty in the woman's bathroom but again I can't blame the crew as they did have a lot of orders to push through and to make their customers happy they needed every hand they could get. The service was fast and me and my family did not wait that long. From the experience of working at a Macdonald's food place and knowing how hard the work is there ( it's not as easy as everyone thinks it is) they still tried to maintain a clean work area as soon as someone was free to leave the floor. Staff were welcoming and sweet. No hassles at all. They asked questions to the tune you needed. The service was 5 star. And the coffee 👍😚 this lady made the coffee beautifully. She didn't try to rush the time to make it and the coffee was not at all burnt or over heated. I definitely will give her five stars as well. The only reason I have put four stars up is because the restraunt was not clean. But from being busy it looked like a miracle compared to other stores 👍👍 good on you guys. Keep up the awesome work. I hope the bosses treat you guys well cause you guys deserve it.

We love Papamoa Maccas, but they need to take ownership for their mistakes, not Uber eats. We ordered dinner tonight and had it delivered by Uber Eats. It was missing a hamburger and straws. I rang them to tell them, but was told to contact Uber eats.. Uber Eats dont pack the meals, they just collect and drop off. So I rang Uber eats, they told me to ring back Maccas, Maccas said there is Nothing they can do. Its on Uber eats! Seriously, they didn't even pack it!! I would be upset with Uber eats if the bags were ripped open. But it wasn't. So now I'm left with a child who was looking forward to a hamburger for dinner and feeling disappointed in a Family restaurant. Management needs to look into that.. Thanks

It was a standard McDs in New Zealand with all the modern amenities. It was not a scenic one as it was on the middle of a parking lot in the main Papamoa shopping area. It reminded me how much I can live without McDs.
