Absolutely fantastic food. I went 2 days in a row. If I could leave more stars I would. Manager was outside checking vax passports. Very professional and polite.

We had one of the best nights in our life here listening to live music, sipping wine in the cozy and artsy atmosphere.. the live music was great and everyone got more lively, until up we all were pushing tables out of the way and creating a space to dance. We had the time of our lives. The locals were so friendly and nice, and we all were having an absolute blast. The next morning we came in for a much needed coffee and breakfast, which were both as good as our night had been. The big breakfast is so delicious. sausages, delicious bacon, mushrooms… the works. Great coffee. The food, the atmosphere, the coffee, and the people, were all a 10/10. We will definitely be back when we are next in the area. Thank you for the great experience and service. Highly recommend.

It was a 5 star from me but only a 3 star from my friends. The food was too salty and the toilets were proper grungy. Great presentation of all our food choices though. Both these issues are an easy fix. Let's hope someone is listening. 😊

Quite a happening little spot. The breakfast and lunch food that we have tried was good. Plates are not huge so order accordingly. Looking forward to catching a gig here and trying some of the evening food.

My partner and I just moved to Raumati & we are really pleased to have found such a great cafe here that will now be our regular. We’ve been twice already. Coffee was strong but so delicious with a hint of chocolate! The eggs Benedict with ham is such good value and i love that is comes with hash browns instead of bread. You don’t find that often in the city, so was stoked to find it at the Raumati Social club. A bonus that they do ham & not just bacon. I’ve also had the halloumi bagel and it was yum and fresh. My partner has had the big breakfast and was very pleased with it. The first time we went we did wait a while for food whilst sitting outside and there was no mention of a delay on food or anything. The second time we came, we sat inside and the food was quick and the service was good so it made up for it! Looking forward to coming back.

Food was nice but limited. After booking in advance by several weeks for a 6.30 pm sitting, it was disappointing to be told there was limited servings of two dishes and one wine. Music was great but a shade loud for a small space. I think that offering evening dining is something that needs a bit more work. Staff were lovely though. Keep working at it. I think that you have a lovely place.

Didn't love. Took quite a while to get someone to show us where we could sit, longer still before anyone came to get orders. My food was fine (fish taco, but nothing different or special about it)...my husband had a dish with chicken that was served straight from the fridge. We sat outside but inside looked a bit dark and grimy. Probably won't be back unless there are some changes.

Got to be honest, the Raumati Social Club has changed since its ownership change. The customer service is not very good, the food was ok and the place just looked like a mess. They didn't have enough staff on and it showed. Going to have to do better then you are doing for me to come back again.

Ordered the Smashed Avo & added an egg - YUMMO. Service with a smile & genuine care. I had to pick a child up from kindy just after I ordered, no big deal, the staff member happily put a hold on the food & made a fresh coffee when I got back. Awesome. Kiddo & Māmā happy.

Wow! I love this place! The atmosphere is rustic and non fussed, and the food was amazing! Not too long to wait either! Kudos to the chefs and this is coming from a fussy eater :-) We'll be back! (Hubby had burger and I had steak. Wonderful)

Great food, fantastic coffee but... Held off writing a poor review for a while in the hope we'd just visited on 'off' days with new staff... However there constantly seems to be new wait staff. On Friday our meal order was taken and totally forgotten about. Manager was apologetic and offered our coffees on the house which was a lovely gesture although the reasoning that it was 'busy' was far from true with only five tables in and no takeaway queue. The waiter who'd taken our order was nowhere to be seen. In recent months we've also had very long waits for food (without a heads up that the kitchen was particularly busy), mix ups with orders, and even been sent away from the counter when ordering there yet not had wait staff come to our table to take our order as promised. I really hope the summer months bring some consistency. We'll still keep visiting as we do love place but sadly it's no longer somewhere to visit for a quick bite as you'll never know when it will arrive!

Excellent food, however if you are going to charge a public holiday surcharge I would suggest not giving half of your FOH staff the day off to cut costs of paying them time and a half. We had to wait twice as long as a normal day to be served, and pay more than usual for worse service. Not impressed.

A perfect little boutique licensed venue, the Raumati Social Club is a cosy old-style place, with friendly staff and a laid-back style. The chef and team have put together a quality menu with interesting variations on standard fare, but the emphasis is on quality. Good beers, a modest but definitely drinkable wine list and excellent coffee round out the offerings. Well worth dropping in.

Went to see Paul Ubana Jones and had dinner there. Food was sensational and Ellie, our waitress, was efficient and a real personality. So great music, food and service. Nice work you lot!

This is a place that only been a few times and still have mixed feelings about it. The food is ok, and it does feels well finishing off the day and go there for a beer and some food. Unfortunately the kitchen will close at random hours (even 1 hour before the closing announced time). So if you don't arrive early enough you will be denied a feed. (this is not a common practice from the part of the world where I'm from). The service staff are good people but again, I'd expect a little bit more costumer friendly experience - such as not urging me to make my order. When I go to a place, I want to relax, have a drink or 2 and get my food order when I'm ready (yet being considerate with the closing time).. So, I think there's an improvement opportunity there.

Nice spot with amazing views and beach access. Kirk and I walk and along the beach and soaked up views of Kapiti Island. We met the rest of the family at Raumati Social Vlub for a bit of lunch before heading home. The food is good and there are some nice beers on tap. When the waitress brought the drinks she apologised that my coffee was a bit late. She was remaking it because it had sat for too long to be served. Great that the staff take pride in what they do. And I hadn't even noticed it was late.

A short cycle ride from Paekakariki, on the new QE Park cycleway, is the Raumati Social Club. Take the family for a ride and as well as coffee and lunch (always great food), there's Tuatara beer on tap and Wednesday is $10 burger night. A cosy and friendly experience.

We've been methodically trying brunch spots on the Kapiti coast since moving here, and this one is by far the best we've tried. Saw a few other diner's lunches go past as well and they also looked delicious. We'll definitely be back.

My partner had dinner here 20/03/22 and the meals were second to none, better than any other restaurant in kapiti and likely Wellington also, The Pork Belly was melt in your mouth with delicious crackling and stunning presentation, The steak was presented to perfection and cooked perfectly.
