My favorite Thai restaurant in the north island. Food is always yummy and well cooked. Restaurant it clean and nicely decorated and the staff are fantastic we have had amazing service every time we have been!

Gave this one a second try because many of my friends on the coast are big fans of the restaurant. For Saturday nights ordering with at least 30 minutes advance is a must. The place is popular because the food is great. Bear in mind that if you order on the spot at the counter you are likely to have a long wait. On my first time going I was told 15 minutes delay at the moment of placing my order which I found reasonable for a busy night. That ended up being 1 hr 15 min which I timed well because I was anxiously checking my phone. Probably would've been better to at least have someone telling me after 40 minutes wait that my order was in progress. Star rating relates to food, which has fantastic portions and is great value for money. I would reccommend to have an option to order and pay online to be available, especially on busy nights.

Every time I've been there for either dine in or takeaway the food has been delicious! So fresh and full of flavour. If dining in, the meals are presented well. Dine in or takeaway, the portions are good value for money. You can have your meal as mild or spicy as you like. I have found the staff to be very welcoming each time I have been.

Ordered a takeaway this evening, seafood sauna medium spice. I have never tried this dish before. .. Well it wasn't what I was expecting, it was better! Absolutely delicious and will definitely have it again. Fish was so fresh and juicy and the spice factor was 100% on point... Thanks team 🙏👌👍🍛

We ordered takeaways....the biggest mistake was not dining as we would have had instant access to more of the gorgeous food we had bought. Delicious food, authentic flavors and fast service. This restaurant demands a revisit next time we are back in Kapiti.

Thai Country House is the best Thai on the coast! If your looking for traditional Thai try the larb or pad Thai. Tom Yum always goes down a treat as an appetiser. Delicious!
