M.Loved their Hawaiian burger! It was really good so we came back the following day before going back to auckland. The price and taste was on point, very worth it. I would definitely visit them whenever we hit pauanui.

Best fries we’ve had - perfectly cooked, not too much salt and nice and crisp (not soggy!).
Burgers were amazing - well prepared with fresh ingredients. Battered fish very tasty, generous portions.
Try the cheesy-weesy scoop of fries. Kids loved it (so did the adults!)

We enjoyed our burgers & chips so much the first night that we decided to have them again on our final night. We weren’t disappointed they were just at good!
We both agreed that they were up there with the best burgers we’ve had!

G.Haha I should have written this long ago but I forgot and Google just reminded me. It's the seafood takeaways you need when eager to go dine on the sand not all too far away. Got a variety of stuff and all pretty good. You should never expect much from the inside of a takeaway shop, but at least at the time it was almost disconcerting, wondering if they were all under construction with so much raw board used for countertops and separators. Dunno if this small beach town could do without this palce, especially when in the low tourism season

M.We love the food and ice creams/milkshakes, definitely worth the spend, however there is a lack of friendliness and customer service strength especially in the ice cream section. Often rude and makes me and others feel unwanted in the shop. Such a disappointment because the experience would be way better if the staff were friendly and talkative.
E.The burgers are incredible, ordered one at two separate times and both times excellent. Loads of salad, relish was yummy and specialised bun! Highly recommend!
A bit annoyed reading some of the other reviews, you get told there is a long wait and then complain that it is a long wait. (Go figure).
It's an incredibly busy place over summer and weekends. Order your food not right on 12:00pm or around 7pm which is their busiest time and no wait!
Always found the staff delightful and I hope the staff keep smiling even with all the grumpy people out there.
M.Been coming to this place for years! Unfortunately you cant order via the phone during peak summer anymore. Great place for ice creams and they do brilliant burgers. However they seem to serve quite small portions of fries when you ask for a scoop of chips. Would recommend but some items do seem to be slightly over priced.

H.Don't listen to the bad reviews. The fish was absolutely perfect - and huge portions. It was very busy and so we had to wait for our order, but they can't help being popular. And there's a nice bar + playground near by.

J.the foods good busy wait times over holidays, staff seems under experienced but that’s ok small town, also the burgers need to have a toasted bun, a fresh chicken patty not a tegal reheatable piece of chicken and iceberg lettuce and then the 11$ price tag will be justified

V.Great Chicken burger and Kofta's, would be 5 stars.. but they close ridiculously early 8am even around christmas holidays and the phone is disconnected so you cant even ring to find out. Needs better management.
