We had a gorgeous big table, (even if we had our faulty towers moment me trying to be helpful to you by taking the end one away when we thought we were six people down, only to have four we didn't know where coming, moment s later, and your team didn't eye roll to us at all, and we really deserved that lol 😜). This huge table was great to seat all who showed up to celebrate a birthday. Roomy restaurant, lovey decor, Thanks again we made great memories last night. Def be back.(pretty bathroom too ❤️)
A.I would rate a 5 based on previous dining experiences here, however the last time we dined, I ordered a pork belly which came with a couple beautiful looking strips of crackle which I was looking forward to. They had sesame seeds and everything on them but they were hard, stale and chewy and almost impossible for me to eat.. bring back fat juice crunchy crackle please....
C.Highly recommended. We have had the steak, Ribs, Chicken snitchel and Onion Rings. The portions are decent and borderline too big. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly. If you have been to South Africa and eaten at Spur, the souces and onion rings are on the menu, but in my opinion, better. Try something new and give this place a go.

P.Geez they cook a great steak...the meal was amazing...a surf n turf and a scallop and sirloin...recommend the apple pie cocktail,they juiced the apple pie perfectly with vodka

V.This restaurant provides a warm atmosphere with polite and friendly staff. Seating options are at a table or booth. We ordered the T-bone (medium-rare) with mash, mushroom sauce and veges; and the Scotch rib (medium-rare) with chips, garlic sauce and salad. Presentation of the steak on hot plate looked great. However, both our steaks weren't evenly cooked as per our request, with most areas cooked to medium. The T-bone was abit mushy. The mash was lovely but a bit sad with the veges as the portion was a bit small for the price of the meal and tasted average. The garlic sauce didnt taste that great so had ordered a side of mushroom sauce which hit the spot. Salad and chips were well portioned and tasted good. Overall, our meals were abit average than what we were expecting for the price we paid.

J.The service from the staff was so great friendly and fast. However for the price the food seemed a real let down. Nothing really that stood out as wow this is amazing the stuffed chicken breast was barely stuffed, the salad options were not so great.
(However the salad bar help yourself idea is great). The steaks were good very tender and melts in your mouth cooked perfectly.
R.We went there for dinner tonight. The steak was great, good size, well cooked, the mash potatoes and pepper gravy was all very nice but the salad bar. Well umm what a let down. The salads were old and not very nice in general. They need to freshen them up and maintain that a lot more. Not a very good quality or selection when you consider it’s a $45 steak. The staff was great, very polite and helpful. Parking is good. All in all I’d probably go back.
T.The steak is always perfectly prepared. The 1kg steak was a challenge that I could not pass on. Finished it all and got a free drink :) staff were professional and well presented. Would recommend you come to Bazza's for a great steak!

j.What a nice restaurant. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive and the food was really good.
We wish we knew they could cater to vegetarians before hand, our fault for not checking, as one of our party didn’t eat meat. When we return, we’ll be sure to ring ahead.
The manager/owner was friendly and chatted with us for a bit after our meal.
Overall a nice place.

W.Was fairly busy when we were there, which is usually a good sign the food is good. The only problem when it gets that busy is you need the staff to drive it. Over an hours wait to get our main, and no one got an entree. There was only a few tables seated when we arrived. 4 stars because the food was good and waitresses did the best they could.

v.Had wonderful service, it was my daughters bday. And they let me bring in a cake, which they unpacked placed on the candles and brought it out to our table, which ended up with whole restaurant singing happy bday to her.
Afterwards they told me, they were actually short on staff, I didn't even realize. Fantastic service, and food.

I only gave 4 stars as I booked for intimate seating and when we arrived we were seated in the middle of everyone the service was a little slow as it was a very busy night but other that the girls were great, the place was clean and tidy. S.Great place and great atmosphere especially when you want a simple night out with the ladies and a nice steak meal. Food for thought; our expectancy for the garlic loaf was to receive a loaf like you get at lonestars but we were given a smallish garlic roll sliced (it did taste nice however) and maybe the salad could of been more appealing with a balsamic glaze to cut through the richness of our steak meal rather then the dressing poured on it. But over all it still was a nice experience, the steak sauce was delicious and steak cooked to perfection.😊 we would all go back but maybe just order something different 😁

Also no longer have a self-serve salad bar, to make room for more tables I suppose.
So longer wait times and also nothing to keep you busy anymore while you wait. Still great steak and customer service.

J.Great food and service. Vegetarian/vegan customers can just pay for the salad bar which has quite a good variety and is unlimited as far as I know. The food can be a bit pricey depending on what you get, but it is meat. And meat is expensive. Highchairs available. Good overall experience for me!

A.We went there on a Saturday night, which was obviously busy, but we felt very rushed throughout the service. The salad bar was very underwhelming and unfortunately pit of our 2 steaks one was definitely overcooked. We had to go to the bar to order more drinks and only then a waitress was sent to our table to check if everything was ok. A drink was taken off our bill to make up for the overcooked meat, but at a steak house, this should be the one thing that should be perfect. Many people recommended this place to us, so we must say, we were a bit disappointed.

Bazza's is going that extra mile during lockdown. My favourite restaurant for 15 years, & the only thing I've missed over this time 😅, Fraser & the team are now doing a special Covid-19 takeaway service, & WOW! It's FANTASTIC! Great menu, great packaging, & the cuisine is as delicious as always. It's just as good sitting in our lounge in our PJ's as it is in the awesome restaurant. Thank you all for this wonderful service x 🥩❤️

Now the food - WOW .. exceptional!!! Stuffed mushrooms- yum!! Entre platter was soooooo good the guys ordered another one (loved the Ribs). My grandsons fish and chips he loved. The steaks were divine - cooked to perfection. My Cajun Salmon- just scrummy. The deserts were amazing.

J.Fraser the owner was out and about checking we were happy and taking orders. Nice level of care. The entree came out quickly, which is nice. The main I had was scotch steak with mushroom sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. Delicious! For desert I had the creme brulee which was butterscotchy and decadent. Satisfying food and although it was busy, we could have a conversation comfortably without blaring music.

A.Consistently good food and service. Have frequented Bazza's many times over the years, and bar a small blip through change of owners have provided some of the best steaks in Auckland, the accompanying sauces are always good, with a salad bar to provide some variety.
M.Heard a lot about this place. Food is great, service is too. Salad bar is a great feature but could do with being kept topped up. Although with the amazing portion size of the Main, you wouldn't want to spoil your appetite

I.I have always enjoyed Bazza's food but this visit I was really disappointed, the food was bland. I ordered the Scallop and Sirloin steak, the steak was really bland and not really hot enough. Bazzas used to serve decent fries but now the fries are horrible, I really wanted to enjoy my father's day treat from my daughter but I now know why I stopped going to restaurants. Sorry Bazzas you failed on this occasion.
H.Place was quite packed and busy but that is pretty normal. The service was spot on and the steak was on par. Only disappointing thing was the buffalo wing entree that I ordered. I thought that the buffalo wings were rather small in size and they could of been bigger.
