Our go to spot - drive thru cause we're forever trying to beat the time 😆 and fail. Service is always on point, can't blame the team for the busy times but they're awesome and kids love the food, so can't complain 😋

This McDonald's is extremely popular. A large restaurant with a play-place, they are super efficient but be prepared for the very long drive through line. There's heaps of parking though. The staff are professional and helpful.

Was open on a public holiday when no other cafe's or supermarkets were open. They have a dining area, right in front of the kids playground. Really impressive playground, very clean. Would highly recommend!

First McDonald's we visited since coming to New Zealand from the US so this is mostly a comparison. The coffee (I ordered a latte) was exceptional and it came in an actual ceramic cup instead of a travel cup with lid which allowed me to actually see the coffee as I was drinking it which was nice. I also ordered a brekkie burger and it was good as well and more of what I would expect from a McDonald's sandwich but this one is not offered in the US so that was a fun novelty. The kids got their happy meals and were happy with them before playing in the kids area for the next hour. Great service. Thanks for being our first.

Usually very busy when we visit.Tend to use drive thru more often than dinning in. Haven't had an issue with our order for a very long time. This has improved over the years. Store's mostly clean and tidy. Kids like the park. And staff are friendly.

We love the play ground. It's like magic how all responsibility (kids under 10) Fall away immediately on entry in this enchanted dwelling, they scurry quickly and b line to the park...piece at last...oh they still want food..yes more price....ahhh.

It's McDonald's, you get whats in the box, with the nutrition of the box as a bonus for your daily fibre intake. Staff are masked so it adds an air of mystery to the meal to go with the super scrumptious cardboard box.

You always have to expect the wait time when it comes to special events e.g mother's day, father's day. I never gave 5 🌟 due to the fact that with these sorts of occasions more staff on the tills would be great, otherwise the day I went into McDonald's the staff were great

The kids playground is neat, but I was concerned it would be hard to get into if either of my kids freaked out as the play area is twisty and quite tall. One of my kids got friction burns (and maybe a little bit heat burns? It's a black plastic slide in the sun) on his hands trying to slow himself down on the slide. No big deal really, but something to be aware of.

Good food for everyone and cheap meals. The location is great and perfect for a quick visit. So I really recommend this place to visit and enjoy your stay.

Just like your average McDonald's. Cleaner and more modern than many. Don't Expect too much from it though as it is a fast food restaurant so you should know what you get. Pretty accessible place, just off the main road so you can stop in on on your way past for lunch or a snack.

We've just received shocking news. One of the friendliest and most helpful members of McDonald's Porirua staff members is leaving in a month's time. We'd just got over COVID-19 and then this! Absolutely gutted! Do we need to ask for another lockdown so that she can't leave for Auckland? We don't know her name but we'll miss her smile and outstanding customer service. McDonald's managers can you please find out who she is...she was working on drive through this morning...and show her this feedback.

Went through the drive through. They don't listen and order provided was incorrect. We weren't charged for what we didn't get but when you have kids and a particular husband in the car it's just not worth the hassle. Much better to go in.

Best McDonald's around for k's in all directions. Great service and if you've got kids you'll definitely be back, new playground is great. Huge carpark which this weekend was the first time I've seen it full up. Tables full too but the new playground only just opened so may quieten down.

Maccas is Maccas, not much difference between branches. Have come to notice lately, that even though they say open 24 hours, they are often closed between 2am and 6am. SO THAT'S NOT 24 HOURS, stop the false advertising. But hang on the drive though is still open, all I wanted was a breakfast at 4.30am, got told "can't do nothing, computers are down." And that was it, there was no further communication from inside, even got ignored when at the window. So had to go home tired and hungry.

What can I say....it's McDonalds so pretty consistent with their brand. It does have a McCafe which I use a lot in the the drive through so I never pause to think about using it. Staff are friendly, and service is 10x faster than KFC. I will continue to get coffee here on the way to hockey.

I feel sorry for the one person I see trying to clean but ppl leave their mess on the tables because the rubbish bins are always full! Maybe get another cleaner on the front every now and then because they all seem to be chatting to each other behind the counter obviously when the manager isn't looking. I know there is an order to do things but I was waiting 20 mins for 3 ice cream cones while three staff members were standing around talking and laughing ... I got a small "sorry about the wait" as did two other ppl afyer me but 20 mins for 3 ice cream cones is abit excessive

Honestly the cleanest maccas I have ever been too or was so clean the staff had great customer service bar one girl with a attitude that just stares at you and didnt speak a single word I thought maybe shes mute but then I heard her talking to others. Thankfully a polynesian boy took over he had good service. I would have given 5 stars but they didnt have alot of things that most maccas do. I wanted the kiwi big brekky they said they weren't serving that anymore and another lady next to me was told after she had paid for her order that milkshakes weren't available.
