To be honest expectations of pub meals are they are pretty standard burgers and steaks. But really impressed with the outstanding flavours and overall quality and presentation of our meals. Variety of protein accompliments that definitely enhanced each meal. Great service too. 👏

Went to dinner with family (6) food was delicious, took a while to come out but one of our waitresses (Robyn) kept us informed and was friendly and polite. There was a little mix up with the size of one of the meals by a different waitress but overall a nice place to eat. We will be back.

Surprised at how quiet it was for Sarurday dinner but still quality food recieved. All 4 of us had the Pork belly which was excellent. Washed down with a tuatara pale ale and guiness drinks were good as was service. Topped off with chocolate brownie with ice cream and custard and a couple of well made latte's. Went to dinner with family (9) for my son's birthday. Food was delicious, and our waitress (and all staff) were friendly and polite. They were very helpful with getting his birthday cake ready with candles and bringing the cake to our table. They couldn't do enough for us. Thanks.

I was there lastnight. Had the sirloin, asks for it to be cooked medium and it came out a bit past well done. Dry as hell, not impressed. Service was great though just the chef dropped the ball serving up a $32 piece of rubber

The supply room has been a regular meeting spot recently, the foods pretty good and the service is prompt and friendly. We've found the menu is pretty good for kids and adults alike for brunch/lunch.

The food here is delicious but the service was a little mixed. We had to chase our drinks order both times and both times they got it wrong. Small portion of chips with the burger and no sauce at all but the burger was great the fish and chips was great and the brownie was awesome (but could have been warmer). No water on the table and none offered. It's a loud busy place so can be hard to have a conversion. Great for a group occasion but perhaps not ideal for a romantic night out

Always good. My wife and I prefer sitting in the front, because every time we go there the back is very noisy and I think I saw smokers outside. What restaurant in NZ will be the first to ban smoking completely? It is just not a nice experience for us to sit and eat with cigarette smoke blowing over our food. Restaurants should start banning smoking in areas where food is served now.

The first time I came here for breakfast with a friend, everything was perfect: the price, the wait time, service and the food itself. This time, 2 of us waited for 35-40 minutes for eggs florentine with asparagus (I think it's eggs benedict on their menu) which was far too long, particularly as there weren't many other patrons at the time. However, the food was absolutely delicious so I'll probably return again soon 😊

We have a had a few meals in here resently and tried the breakfast yesterday, says it all really, good food (the chefs special at the moment is a must) good service and atmosphere

We came at 6pm on a quiet Sunday evening, the place was mostly empty; within half an hour there were only a few tables free. Our meals were delicious. The lamb shank pie was heavenly - big, pastry perfectly cooked, looked amazing, smelled wonderful, real melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, tasted divine. The mash, peas and mint jus (i.e. gravy) were likewise delicious. The pan fried Chatham Island blue cod was hot, the batter was crisp and not too thick, nice big pieces. The salad wasn't swimming in dressing but had just the right amount, and the chips were hot and crisp. We could not fault our apple and blueberry pie - sweet, hot, tasty, arrived quickly. The service was great. The place was busy but we were attended to quickly, and our meals arrived within a satisfactory time. A great range of beers at surprisingly good prices, likewise their wines. There were a couple of negatives; running out of sticky date pudding was pretty devastating (kidding). More seriously though, they could have done with turning up the heating a bit, there was a sudden rush of cold air whenever the door opened, and we noticed several other patrons appearing quite chilly. Despite being busy and having several family groups, the noise level was not excessive, and it was a nice change to not be able to see multiple TV screens from my seat. Plenty of parking, easy access. Staff were all friendly and professional. Oh, nearly forgot - prices were really good 😊. I'll definitely be back.

The front of house staff were very friendly and welcoming. A vast improvement on our last visit. We haven't been here for quite a while as we were very disappointed with food and service . Happy to say this evening was quite a different story, food was good and service quick and friendly. One negative, very hard to hear each others conversation, music playing loadly over general background noise. Would be good if could regulate music in front of restaurant. Understand people in back bar may prefer loader music but when having dinner in restaurant area would be nice if it was more in the background.

Wonderful food. We walked in on a Tuesday evening without a reservation and were able to be seated. The tapas and other food were amazing, good beers on tap. Service a bit slow due to a large function, but no stress if you're after a cruisy night out.

Very slow service, long wait for food. Poor customer service - weren't offered drinks, had to wait for menus - and it wasn't even busy (quiet lunchtime, one other table). Food was all right, waffles a bit doughy but maple syrup was nice. Steak was acceptable, done to order (cooked well done). Smoked salmon all right, beans not cooked. Desserts were good - recommend the deconstructed cheesecake.

Mmm it's an alright place as far as eateries in the porirua/mana region go. My main issue is only with the lack of vegan options. Even the vegetarian options are a bit lacking which is a shame. It's hard, as a vegan, to review an overall eatery experience when you didn't really have anything you could eat. Otherwise, our service experience was great. The wait staff were friendly and prompt and the coffee was great. I love that there was a dog bowl available for wandering pups and the actual floor space is pretty big with two outdoor seating areas and a larger upstairs function room. Pretty nice place all in all.

We attended with a group of 12, great that we could reserve a table. On arrival we were told we would hVe a new waitress. Dinner went fantastic! Waitress had great patience and was having a good laugh with us all. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the lamb shank and was blown away with the size and flavours!! We will be back next time we are all up.

Friendly service, but pretty slow. Waited about 20 mins to have our order taken. The food arrived quickly and was tasty, but drinks arrived near the end of our meal. Their ten dollar schnitzel special on Mondays is excellent value.

Wonderful wonderful service - our young waiters and waitresses provided a great pleasant friendly service. Our first waiter made sure we were happy by asking if we were happy. Will definitely go there again and recommend to other people. We were so happy with our service that we tipped an extra 20 bucks. Appreciated - as our service at other businesses have not been all that great of late.

Ive been a few times over the past 2 years now and each visit the service has been a bit average. Sitting at tables waiting to be served, slow arrival of meals, stuff not available, staff looking "over it" etc. Despite this its a nice location with decent food.

D4 is very cold (temperature). The decor is a missed opportunity. It has no soul. It could have been a great opportunity to create an upmarket beach style "Hawthorn Lounge". Supply Room and D4 while having good fresh food is always verging on empty. Often closing before 10pm. Good for a family lunch (supply room). We are return customers as it is convenient but atmosphere could be better.

Have been back to supply room a couple of times in last 2 yrs. The food has improved and the service was good. Price was reasonable. Nicer on a hot day, sitting outside, having a cold pint.

Came for brunch and was very pleased. Food came out hot and fresh with not a huge wait. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Music was good sitting outside on a hot day. One customer brought in thier dog to the outside area and a staff member brought out a water bowl for doggo. Was a really enjoyable experience for us and the doggo.

They were a little confused on the difference between medium and medium rare. Their range of whiskey is limited, which is fair, they are a beer place. Pork was nice, but if you order from their posh nosh menu, expect the chef to try to hard to be posh. I want decent food on a plate, not pork balanced on a matching shaped potato patty.

Not impressed with food, ordered mussels at $14.95 and received 5 tasteless mussels, obviously still peckish so ordered the cheeseboard and requested if there was a blue, could it be replaced with something else. Cheeseboard appeared with 2 slabs of cheese, one a tasteless camenbert or brie, not sure which as it was that tasteless, again requested the blue be swapped and it was with just another slab of camenbert or brie! Came with a small selection of breads and a mango chutney.

Family went in for dinner on a Wednesday night - expecting the basic pub / restaurant dinners & accept that most pub/ restaurants don't offer much variety for Celiacs (gluten free). Waitress was super helpful, firstly told us about their homemade soft drinks, then reeled off all the things they could do gluten free and made some awesome suggestions. 2 tapa dishes gluten free fish Ceviche dish was absolutely incredible, so delicious and perfectly done! The grilled paprika rubbed striploin – bruschetta. OMG! Well deserved 5 stars. TY!

Nice cafe for a quick lunch. Easy parking off the main road. Speedy, friendly service. Modern menu with a little unique flair. Home made soups and muffins, breakfast menu, burgers etc. also nice tapas menu. For example, paua wontons, mushroom and bacon vol au vents, pork spareribs. Looks like it would be nice for a drink after work?
