Everything here is delicious and the staff are always friendly,upbeat and helpful! Seriously best pizzas in nz, you also have to try the pies, and the choc caramel slice is to die for. Consistently great coffee too!! Happy to support local, keep doing what you’re doing guys much love!

Love this place. Always so friendly and welcoming. If you are a visitor, not on the beach but near it. Just few hundred metres walk. Coffee fantastic and bacon butty (sandwich) toasted is delicious. You can't go without tasting the soft cheese scones, toasted with butter. 😋

I was today years old when I happened upon THE best mocha of my adult life. I have been here on many occasions, but today for whatever reason it hit all the right notes. It was thick, creamy, strong, bold and sweet as anything. Thanks team for THE best mocha I have ever experienced.

Called in for a coffee. Worth travelling the extra distance down the street for a quieter spot. Large windows to see the world go by. Staff member at the till was a bit glum. Latte was good, served quickly with sugar and sweetener on the table to help yourself but the ginger crunch slice came with crumbs on the icing from another cake. Newspapers to read and a water cooler easily accessible. Bar stools to perch on while waitng for takeaways. Historical photo of the beach on the wall which interested me. House on the opposite side of the street decorated for Christmas worth checking too.

The cafe is very small for a venue with big in the name, and it's quite pricey. But the seating was comfortable, the staff friendly, and my vegan sandwich went down a treat.

I love the pizza from here, my favorite is the Big Satay mmm delicious. They also deliver after 5PM which is great. Lovely place to go to enjoy a coffee and some sun. They also have counter food. Priced fairly for what you get and the service is great. Right by the sea and close to the train station. Give it a go!

This place has fantastic pizza. More expensive than the chains, but well worth it. If you're staying locally, delivery is cheap too ($3 around Plimmerton at the time of writing). The coffee is usually excellent, but the cabinet food is limited and a tad hit and miss.

Ordered a medium chicken cranberry and brie pizza, with an iced hazelnut drink, and a banana smoothie. The iced hazelnut drink lacked enough hazelnut flavour, and the banana smoothie was great. (I like that they have paper straws.) The chicken on pizza was slightly dry, but luckily had lots of cranberry sauce and cheese topping.

A popular Plimmerton cafe probably best known for great pizzas. The atmosphere is low key and very relaxed. I frequent more often for one of the best gluten free tan slices anywhere, accompanied by a hot chocolate or coffee. They offer a great barrista service.

I will be splashing in the waves with my kids or at the Big Salami - purveyors of the finest cheese scones in the southern hemisphere. Additional: good coffee and great pizzas. It's near the beach. It does good coffee and great food. It is relaxed and can handle a toddler invasion. Basically I love this place.
