J.Have been here previously and enjoyed my meals - last night - the seafood chowder was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Couldn't finish it. However the lovely wait staff was attentive and very friendly
M.We had a meal here and ordered the special being crumbed chicken schnitzel and a glass of wine or beer for $20. It was filling and well cooked. There was many other items on the menu priced as you would expect. However the special was a great buy.
There was a nice atmosphere and big screen TVs doing sports coverage of rugby, for example.
Good parking around the back and good for a family.

S.Went for our 45th wedding anniversary.
Our Waitress Nicole was lovely, great PR and we enjoyed her banter.
Service was prompt, food was delicious, right amount and good presentation.
Were happily surprised to receive a free dessert for the occasion.
We will be back, next time we're in Chch.
L.Food was good but service so slow we left after the main as the children were getting cranky and we couldn't wait any longer so didn't order desserts.

H.Great service, lovely food. After several visits, will happily bring our friends and visitors to The Bridge. Always try to be accommodating, even if we have not made a reservation, on the odd occasion.

P.Family lunch of 18 people at Armadillos Prebbleton. Service was very efficient. Staff were polite. Good choice of meals for everyone. I had Fish and Salad, fish was delicious. Good value for money. Excellent selection of wines to choose from.
Good place for people with mobility difficulties with parking close the entrance. Would definitely go again.

V.Very nice place for lunch. Easy parking, nice interior with good seating. There is also an outdoor option for seating in a sheltered and private area. The range of food was good and at a reasonable price. We were a group and everyone was happy with their meal. We have been there several times and been warmly welcomed but on this occasion the staff appeared to be stressed and not so warm. Maybe they have troubles too.

M.Nice place, under-staffed during Thursday dinner rush hour with hour + wait time for our food, other table waited longer. Staff appeared stressed. No blame on workers present though.

Not sure if they have a new cook or are tightening up but servings have gotten much smaller.
Not really value for money anymore and have started going elsewhere.

A really lovelly place to got get a quick feed and or a beer in a safe enviroment.

J.Nice food and the restaurant did very well to handle our entire party, I was there with about 80 people and didn't have to wait for ages which is very impressive. There's a nice bar with some good beers on tap, and am attractive outside area also. All in all a good set up and a great place to grab a quick bite or spend some time with people. Oh and friendly staff too.
O.Brilliant meal out, nice location, clean and tidy, food little pricey but was good value for money, had a 300gm steak, I did doubt it was a 300gm steak, but was nicely cooked and seasoned, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our waitress had a brilliant sense of humor and was fantastic to deal with, if wasn't for couple minor things I would have gone 5 stars
L.Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Their conference room is neat and well set up. Ideal of a small to medium size meeting and it can be closed off for privacy.

V.Good food, horrid, rude service. There was no greeting, we just stood there waiting for someone to notice us. We were then dumped at a table without a word. When the waitress came back we asked about the specials and it was very clear that we were inconveniencing her greatly. That being said the food was amazing. Our table had today's pasta which was wholegrain (which she forgot to tell us) and in an amazing mushroom sauce, and a pizza which was wonderful too.
The food was brilliant, but over all not a very friendly atmosphere. The only time there was a staff member in the room was when they were serving something, or popped into seat someone. It wasn't a BAD dining experience, but I wouldn't go back again.
N.We took the grandchildren for dinner excellent service and meals. We will be back. Very good bathroom facilities.
m.we had a birthday meal at the restaurant. we all had super food. plus asked for a carry bag for what I couldnt finish, and it appeared to be child friendly. Pleasant friendly staff. Well done to female Chef on hot chips with food.

Tavern, english style place that'll serve you up a frothing pint of ale and couply of bloody big, gravy bathed shanks on mash.
I take my dad here for his birthday, an old school cob, farmer, liked to watch a bit of footy and to eat a large portion meal. Perfect.
It's a pretty uninteresting place inside, the outdoor areas are pretty nice.
Overall id say it's pretty good value, the food is quality and you get heaps of it.
Staff are always good sorts too.

L.First class service and attention. I had booked for about 20 people for afternoon tea. The Bridge Restaurant isn't a cafe as such, no cabinet food, but Michelle and Chris responded to my enquiry and provided a great welcome. They had an area set aside and when the food arrived we were most impressed. The muffins and slice were superb! Thank you for making my job so easy. Not always possible to find somewhere pleasant where a group of people are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you.

H.hmmm not as great as it should be ,staff are grt the new menu nothing startling more heavy wintery foods nothing really nice and summery on offer so a bit disappointing but still a nice plce for locals to go 😕
