C.Great place for really yummy pizza!! Had a work do there and the staff were friendly and the service was quick. You can watch them making the pizza as well! You can choose to make your own pizza and the drinks were delicious. Well worth the visit 👍👍

Staff were friendly and welcoming.
I got the La Fiesta Mexicana pizza for myself. Our waitress was very accommodating of my hate of avocado and offered alternate sauce swirl options.
I really enjoyed the pizza, base and toppings were great.
Would definitely return.
L.Didn't get to dine in but ordered takeaway pizza. The large pizzas are HUGE and absolutely delicious. For me, pizza crust is a real make or break when I eat pizza and this crust is amazing. Ordered the fat badger, cheesy garlic bread, chips, and another large pizza with chicken and rocket.
10/10 for the food.

L.Pizza was not only large, but also flavorful and packed a punch. To make myself feel better, I ordered a side of salad, but that didn't happen hahaha the pizza won out, and the salad went untouched. My kids loved the fries with the aioli and would've been happy taking a bottle of that sauce home

M.After getting into town late, I was hungry so decided to try this out. The atmosphere was warm - both literally and figuratively - and the staff were friendly. We ordered a large pizza thinking it would be a good size for two to share. We barely ate half of it! The wings (smoky bbq) were also pretty awesome.

The base itself was nice and firm, crispy too, but the pizza itself is a letdown.. suggest a name change or an ingredient being added to this 1.. edit* sorry but by definition, a margarita has basil, google it.

E.AMAZING pizza! Dough was well done, chewy and soft. Toppings seemed very generous. I highly recommend their buffalo wings. Seriously THE best wings I’ve had so far. It was a very busy place and the staff members were trying their best to look after us. Very reasonably priced as well. We had a great time dining there!
R.Fat Badgers has DELICIOUS food for very reasonable prices. We got the medium curly fries with parmesan and a medium pepperoni pizza with gluten free crust (not pictured). This was enough to fill 2 hungry teenagers until dinner, and we hadn't even had lunch that day, so that's really saying something. The fries were very large for value and the pizza was exquisite, with genuine tomato sauce and authentic mozzarella, and the gf crust was so good you could hardly tell the difference. Great experience.

The staff were friendly, the seating area was cozy and well kept, the service was relatively quick (only waited 5-10 min for 2 pizzas). I honestly can't think of anything bad about this place.

S.AWESOME! Nothing better than a great pizza after a long day of travelling. Flew in late to Queenstown and Fat Badgers was there to brighten my evening upon arrival. Excellent pizza and some awesome mushrooms for an appetizer as well! Definitely recommend trying it out if you're in the mood for some pizza.
L.Nice place for a quick pizza in Queenstown. The drinks are great and the pizza is good if you like the American style (i.e. based on their own 'family sauce' rather than the plain tomato sauce you would find in an Italian pizza). The selection of pizzas is quite broad, with many options from 'usual' to gourmet toppings. The dough is tasty but light for digestion, i.e. not too oily or fatty compared to a typical American-style pizza, although please note the pizza is cooked in an electric oven rather than a woodfired one. The atmosphere is great, as is the friendly and polite staff. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also included, which is a plus for tourists travelling from abroad!

H.Came for dinner around 6pm on a Wednesday night, wasn’t too busy and tables were vacant. Ordered the scratchy badger and Smokey badger pizzas. Price points are pretty high/expensive for average pizzas ($29 each for the size pizzas in the photos). Overall, service was good and vibe is casual. Our table was annoyingly rocky and wasn’t steady which was agitating at times.

The pizzas are amazing! The glutenfree pizza base tastes just like the normal one and it’s very crispy. The first time I had to confirm that it was actually glutenfree because I couldn’t believe it! They can make every pizza vegan too. I tried the vegan margarita pizza, it was very cheesy haha. The jalopeno/cheese poppers were also tasty!
B.Just returned earlier this week from my Holiday inn Queenstown! Fat Badgers was definitely a highlight of the trip! Pizza is top Quality and taste wise was outstanding! Only gripe was the massive wait for the pizza... But they being a staple food joint in the CBD I guess it's to be expected!

J.I consider myself a pizza connoiss-sort-of. My buddy is a whiney baby about pizza. Pizza this and pizza that. Dude wouldn't know a good pie if it fell on his head from a pizza plane. Regardless, he's still my sympathy friend and so I take him to pizza places so he can get on his high horse. FatBadgers was a nice big slice with a thin soft crust that made for a nice fold. Is it a slice of pizza? Is it a weird Italian taco? Who cares because it tastes great.

I.Ordered pepperoni pizza - pizza places that can't get a basic pizza right don't stand a chance making anything complex. Fat Badgers certainly know how to make good pizzas! The crust was absolutely perfect and the tomato sauce delicious! Would definitely come back again when in town in the future.

R.Absolutely amazing place. Great staff, service, pizza and food. We went in on NYE and you'd never have known. Prices were the same and all the staff were still incredibly friendly happy and chatty. It's a great bar too. They have a happy hour every night from 10-11. Cannot recommend highly enough. Just be aware that larger means LARGE!

A.The food was tasty , the in-store menu didn't make it as vegan friendly as the online menu suggested. The staff were ok but not amazing , the night we went was cold and wet and not having a place to hang jackets and warm to sit was so so. However the food we did get was tasty and well cooked

They're doing literally nothing. So by time your food get to your table it is cold and soggy. Was so tempted to grab the food myself. Otherwise you guys do make awesome food and the staff are normally good. Was just let down this time

Only giving 4 stars because of the drastic difference between portion sizes. 12 inch and 20 inch is too big a difference. 12 inch is a bit too much for 1 person but not enough for 2 and 20 inch is too much for 2 people. In hindsight I'd get a 20 and take some home. Otherwise great place to go and highly recommend.
l.The food here is awesome. They have some great pizza options and their pizzas are great value too. Be warned their large pizza is very very large. It would fill three hungry people easily! Their medium pizzas are a good size and their sides are fantastic too. They also sell by the slice which are quite big and are plenty for lunch if you get some chips too

T.Great pizza, lots of good options & the big one is really big. I saw entire families eating one 'half-n-half' between them. Also options for non-pizza eaters too (sadly, I didn't have space for one of the putines - but it's on my list for next). Noisey & kid friendly. Definitely not a quiet romantic dinner option. They were doing a lot of takeaways, but delivery did not seem to be an option when we were there.

R.The place had a good atmosphere and the service my friend and I received was excellent, we shared a large half and half pizza which is definitely big enough for 3 people with a side dish (we had curry fries). The pizza base was good, my friend really liked it but I would have preferred it to be slightly more crispy. The toppings on both half's were great. I would definitely come back again but with a third person as for the same price we could all eat enough.

O.Be careful, the portions are huge! Even the 12" pizza is very filling. Don't make the same mistake as I did and don't order more food with your pizza. But if you do so, you get a takeout box for free. Delicious food and very good beer!

The 20" pizzas are MASSIVE, 1 could easily fill up 2-3 adults. It's also open lateish so great for a late feed after a night out

D.Very popular and busy for good reason. Pizzas are awesome, chockablock full of toppings. Bases are thin with a crispy edge. They come in 12" or a whopping 20"; boxes are available for your leftovers (crust was still just as good following morning). Good selection of beer and wine. Beers come in standard handles or a "bowl" which saves going back for a second handle 😉 Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.
T.Excellent chicken wings! Also they do a very good happy hour price on them. If you are chasing a good spicy chicken wing then this is the place to go in Queenstown!

J.Huge beers, huge pizzas and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the food here, though I couldn't finish my 20" pizza. Great place to go to after a big day on the ski fields or if you're particularly hungry. The beers are also served in big goblet style glasses which make for a fun experience. Very well priced too. I.This was a great place that had an excellent selection of bespoke pizzas (not just standard fare) and other sides. The restaurant is cosy and has a vibrant atmosphere. There is a bar to grab beers, wine and other drinks. Probably best pizza place in Queenstown.
R.Potentially the best pizza I've ever had. Despite not being cheap, the pizzas are high quality and have some original, delicious ingredients. I suggest you share a large pizza between 3 people. They have good beer on tap and the atmosphere is really nice too.
o.Looks really good, but unfortunately the pizza was very bland, almost no seasoning in them, we got 3 different ones all tasted as if they didn't have and flavour. Calamari was fantastic.

Y.My fiancé and i visited this place on our trip into Queenstown as we were seeking some delish Pizza. As we walked in we were delighted by the smells and laughed at the sizes of the slices so we decided to take a seat and begin our dining experience. The staff were great- unfortunately we couldnt even stay for long as there was one table of a complete rude and ignorant bunch that had a jugs of beers and were dancing around the room, and demanding things from the chefs and being absolutely obnoxious! We had to ask the waitress for a box to go and took our meal home. Food was great, but you really shouldn’t allow people like that to be so rude and obnoxious in your restaurant.

M.Be prepared that when you order a large pizza here that it is double the size of most other large pizzas around and are as delicious as they are big. My wife and I shared one and it got us through two dinners.
The restaurant is well designed and the service here is really good too. With servings this big the Fat Badger is definitely one to visit in a larger group.

C.Crust was good and nice options on menu plus reasonably priced once you consider the huge size.
However, I ordered 2 very different sounding pizzas (Julius and Fat Badger) and found both to taste basically the same because the tomato sauce was so overpowering. This also meant I got sick of the taste quickly and didn't want to eat more (which was probably for the best as I'm prone to stuffing myself!)
I presume my friends felt similarly as none of us could be bothered getting the remaining 6 slices to go for breakfast--the idea of any more sauce that strong any time soon was too much for me.
D.Great place to grab something to eat in Queenstown. Many options for pizza and they serve poutine :) although the menu does say they use cheese curds, it did not look like the cheese curds we have back in Quebec, more like melted cheese, but quite tasty nonetheless. Beer was okay, but not great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were out of ginger beer (which my girlfriend ordered), but the barman ran to the nearest convenience store to grab some more. Nice ambience inside and out, but space is a bit limited so you might want to scope the place out a bit if it's busy.

We weren't sure if the large would feed us so got a family and only got half way through it but ate left overs the next day. Very busy place during school holiday for tea but would def go back again.

M.I'm from NY and this was good pizza by any standards! We came in here for a late night snack after hitting the Queenstown nightlife. Great pizza and you can buy beer to top the night off. Only downside - no bathroom.

T.Compared to other places, you may consider the prices a little high at Fat Badgers, but once you try their pizza, you don't care what you spent. With so many topping options, including design your own, you'll have no trouble ordering your new favourite. Vegetarian options are available, so no issues there.
With thin and crisp pizza bases, one can easily finish off a medium (12") pizza solo, or you can share with the larger size. Half\half also available at a $2-$3 surcharge. Indoor, outdoor and takeaway available.
s.Good sized regular pizza. Saw a lot of people ordering the large one which seemed humongous 😅, but it seems to be a trend there. A good place with great staff.

p.Everything about this place is top notch. Let me tell you why.
We popped in at 2:30pm where the sole waitress was juggling the till, taking orders, and cleaning up tables. I asked if we could take an indoor table which still needed to be cleaned up. She suggested that we could take an outdoor table and get shifted indoors once the table was cleaned up. We were happy enough to do the outdoors.
We went to put in our orders where she turned up at the till after delivering some pizzas and drinks. We stumbled through our orders which she happily complied with and didn't show an ounce of annoyance.
After 5 minutes of being seated, we received our drinks and as she was serving a member of our party, she glanced over at my drink and said, "That looks flat. Would you like to try it and I'll change it if it's flat?" Considering she was the only waitress on the floor, I have to applaud her keen eye for detail. A replacement drink was served in literally minutes.
Once the indoors table was cleared, she remembered to ask if we still wanted to move indoors. We politely declined but were surprised she even remembered!
Food was hot and delicious, as always. She also gave us a heads up to take the pizza slices from opposite ends to keep the tray balanced on the serving rack which saved us a near tipping over later in the meal.
We had a few slices of pizza left and when I asked for a takeaway box, the box supplied fitted the pizza slices EXACTLY to the point that my friends asked if she knew exactly how many slices were left.
It was a great meal with good quality good and too notch ingredients.
What made this experience AMAZING was the sole waitress on the floor on Tuesday, 18th of April, 2017, at 1430hrs, who with her eye for detail and great customer service, as well as amazing multitasking skills, made the dining experience sublime.
This shows how great customer service changes a good experience into an unforgettable one.
