J.Stunning place to eat classic Italian food, with super friendly staff and great service. We ordered pasta and pizza, both delivered really quickly and delicious. You can eat a great plate of pasta while listening to Italian music 🥰
For dessert we ordered the Tiramisu, authentic Italian dessert. Would go back, absolutely!
L.Delicious gnocci!!!! Soft and light! I couldn't enjoy enough the house wine because I was driving, but a glass was enough to appreciate the dish! Fast and welcoming service. Certainly, I'll be back! The pic don't go even close to the flavor. I was enjoying outside table in a beautiful sunny day. :-)

R.I would really recommend Giovi, we had a fantastic meal here. The trio pasta is a really good deal, and all three pastas were delicious, as was everything else. The atmosphere is also really lovely. I almost wish we were staying in Queenstown for longer so I could come back and try more of the menu!

L.The best Italian I have ever had! Myself and my partner Zac ate here about 5 minutes ago and can’t stop raving about how good the food and service is (we have already told all of our friends and family to go here). We ordered two pizzas, the lasagna and the carbonara gnocchi and we could not get enough. Very well priced and will definitely be going back for more next time we are down from Auckland. The owner Giovi has amazing customer service and has created a warm, welcoming environment. Seriously, if you are in Queenstown GO HERE!

K.We called in for lunch and ordered a pizza, washed down with a red wine, imported from their winery in Italy. Both the pizza and wine was spot on. It was a case of feeling like we were right back in Italy. The friendly Italian banter between chef and front of house brought a smile to our faces. Certainly recommended.
X.Super fresh pasta, amazing pesto and gnocchi, veg lasagna was simple and tasty. Passed on the $15 (?!?) piece of chocolate cake, but everything else was reasonably priced, and well worth it.

C.Delicious pasta and gelato! We had beef ravioli with butter sauce and a spicy red sauced pasta. The red wine wasn’t very good so I would pass on that next time. We finished with a caramel Oreo gelato that was amazing! Very friendly staff and prompt service as well

The food was just perfect - authentic, flavourful and hearty. Clearly a lot of love has been put into the menu and everything was prepared with care. The pizza and tiramisu were the highlights!
The service was friendly and attentive; there was an issue with our booking but they managed to seat us anyway in the fully booked restaurant which we very much appreciated.
We will be back and will definitely be picking up some pasta to cook at home.

J.It was amazing the portions where prefect, the gnocchi melted in your mouth and was super tasty, the pesto pasta was super good too cooked perfectly and the pesto was delicious.

Friday night we celebrated our niece Danielle's birthday with family... a large party of 13 adults and 7 children which is always a concern where ever we dine.
When entering Giovi... I did think how on earth would they cope with such a big crowd in such a small place, well I needn't worry as from the moment we arrived we where greeted with lovely smiles and made to feel that we are welcome. Food was lovely everyone enjoyed there meals the children where well looked after, and never once felt like we where a hassle. It actually felt like we had gone for dinner at our aunties home for home cooked dinner and great company and lots of laughs.
GIOVI is a must go to for awesome Italian atmosphere and food.

N.Wonderful Italian restaurant with delicious homemade-style dishes. I've visited every time I've come to Queenstown and never been disappointed. The spaghetti bolognese and spinach ricotta ravioli are great. Their pizza and gelato are good too. Would love to see them deliver their dry pasta to the North Island.
It would be great if they did a pasta and gelato deal for lunch.
I.This is the best Italian food I've ever had. Very friendly owners and staff. Delicious meals and delicious desserts. When I have a long day, the spaghetti bolognese takes me away from my problems.
P.Can't get to Italy this year but a visit to Giovi is the next best thing. Freshly made pastas - the pumpkin almond ravioli was heavenly - plus some of the most authentic pizzas in town. Just make sure to leave room for the tiramisu!
M.The pasta here was very good, and we especially liked the carbonara sauce. The sharing plate with three pastas and three sauces was plenty for two people, so it's a way to try a few varieties. The menu has a good selection.

The Gnocci was insanely good and great value! My Wife had the Gluten-Free Pizza and said it was delicious. Will definitely be going back on our next trip to Queenstown!
R.Went to Giovi on Friday night for a family dinner. We had a group of 13 adults and 7 kids. All the staff were welcoming, friendly & on the ball the whole night. Nothing was an issue and they were amazing with the kids aswell. We often struggle to find somewhere suitable for group dinners so we will 100% be back. They treated our family like theirs and they even made a cake for the birthday girl. Thanks everyone at Giovi, we will see you again 🙂

This beautful team of passionate people make us feel like we are in their home and being loved with every mouthful! EVERY dish, and every mouthful of delicious pizza, pasta AND real Italian Gelato is to groan in pleasure for!!' We are locals in Queenstown and we eat here 2-3 times a week becuase we LOOOOOVE it!
J.I have eaten at Giovi Italian Restaurant twice now and it will be my restaurant of choice from now on. Both times the pasta dish I selected was absolutely gorgeous and so addictive that I really wanted to keep eating. My family have eaten there also and the rather fussy children demolished their meals, disappointing their father who hoped he would get their leftovers! The service was very welcoming and you feel a real family vibe there. I look forward to having a long Italian Sunday lunch there soon with some friends. It is worth noting the wines served are from Giovianna's family vineyards in Italy to add to the authenticity. Do not hesitate - get to this restaurant!

Big family table in the window and smaller tables elsewhere. + a busy takeaway lineup.The majority of restaurant patrons were Italian..... that alone must be a serious endorsement. Clean, fresh awesome service with seriously great food. I've worked in Italy and that lunch today was the Best Italian dish I've ever had. Go there.

J.Had a margherita pizza and was a bit disappointed with it. It had only one leaf of fresh basil. It kind of felt like just a cheese pizza to be honest. But the crust and the pizza itself was really good though! I think I will order a different kind of pizza next time.

A.Definitely worth the walk from the airport. The pasta was amazing - not too heavy and one of the most authentic I've had in NZ. The gelato was also to die for - the waiter recommended the lemon cookie and it did not disappoint, 2 BIG scoops for $6 felt like daylight robbery. Such friendly staff as well, cannot recommend this place enough!
