L.Back 1 year later from Tauranga, definitely our #1 spot for the best rosebud cocktail in NZ and I'd say the best polenta fries out. Great service and awesome atmosphere! Highly recommend anyone in Queenstown to stop by! We'll be back again don't you worry!
E.My wife and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. My wife got one of the vegetarian dishes which she absolutely loved. I got the big breakfast and it was so big I couldn't finish everything.
The bacon was some of the best I've had in a while and the toast was really good. The crust was perfect: not soft but also not so hard that it couldn't be cut easily with a fork. The hash browns were perfectly fried and the beans tasted great. It was a great combination of foods to start the day.
The service was also outstanding. The wait staff was friendly and happily answered questions about what ingredients they used in their sauces.
We also loved the old radio and clock wall decor and the piano housing the cutlery. This place is definitely ones of the must-visit restaurants in Queenstown.
P.Definitely under the top 5 of restaurants I’ve ever been to. The waiter was super friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is very cozy and comfortable. My main dish was super complex with lots of different tastes on the plate cooked to perfection my mates dish maybe even better. The dessert was the most creative one I’ve had in a long time small tarts filled with caramel and chocolate mousse up top plus extra ingredients. You can’t even complain about the look it was set up perfectly on the plate. I can’t really feel the people that complain about a small menu because that’s usually the conformation that the food is fresh...
I.Great service and outdoor seating area, it was rainy but very cozy outside by the fire and warm blankets! The food was ok, my coconut french toast was very sour, probably due to passion fruit but too simple for the price... the other dish with feta and avocado was very good.
M.Stopped in for brunch when we arrived in town, friendly staff and lots of good looking options on the menu. Right next to the lake with great views. I had the Chicken and Waffles which was perfect, skillfully crafted ingredients and probably on the top of my list for this dish!
J.Basically on the lakeside but without the views unless you're outside and it wasn't raining. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Food portions are a tad small but very tasty. The one problem I had was that not one but two of the cutlery and napkin sets were unclean, hair tangled into fork, very visible stain on napkin.
