Love it! We came from Auckland and this was our first restaurant in Reglan. Probably one of the best pork belly I've ever eaten, the steak was also amazing with the Mushroom souffle. The entry we had tempura salmon was amazing. Hands down to the great chef and team. Also amazing and friendly front house staff.

Had an excellent dinner celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were wonderful, the food superb with the BEST salted caramel pavlova ever! They gave us free shots when they heard we were celebrating. A special touch of hospitality.

On a super busy day, lunch was fantastic! Hubby loved the Garlic Prawns, and I am more than happy to say that the Szechuan Calamari and Trevally beer battered fish of the day were outstanding and thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered 3 dishes and shared them between us. We'd already started eating when I took the photos.

The service was great. Staff were very kind and friendly. We ordered breakfast: Salmon Benedict and x2 Big Bekkie plus extra rewana toast. Both our meals were delicious. We'll definitely come back here to try out the lunch and dinner meals.

Food was really good. Went to this place twice during my weekend in Raglan. Fish and chips is a must, the portion of fish is very generous and very tasty. Also the eggs and avocado breakfast was amazing too. They have a deck with a nice view of the estuary on the back. The staff at reception seems to struggle a bit handling customers arriving during busy times. Book a table in advanced on summer long weekends as it gets packed and fully booked on the day. They follow covid19 rules.

First visit to Raglan and it was my partners birthday dinner he chose there and we had a great experience and food are an amazing !! Staffs are all friendly and welcoming with a big smiling. We like to visit there again. We visited a few places in Raglan, a few places are not welcoming well and had a poor customer service. This place is I want to recommend to everyone!! Thank you so much for making us happy and enjoyed evening in Raglan :)

Came here for our brunch before heading back home. Raglan seemed to be a very busy this weekend. This restaurant is busy as well. Really enjoyed the foods. The healthy salad bowl was delicious. The staff is helpful. Not much wait for the foods. Nice coffee as well.

AMAZING! First we went there for dinner which was stunningly delicious! The next day we went for bar snacks and beers and it was such delicious food! Plus you cannot go past the gorgeous views, fabulous friendly staff and amazing restaurant ambience.

Lovely evening at Orca, our waitress Pagan was excellent and went above and beyond for us, food was great also- shame about the front of house, the lady was quite rude, clearly needs a day off or some lessons in hospitality skills, even when we tried to compliment the server she seemed uninterested. But over all food and our experience was great and I would recommend.

Have been here for breakfasts at times in Raglan. The breakfast menu here is really good. The kids are always pleased with their food and the drinks. We also stopped in for mocktails last visit and they declared the Orca mocktails the best Raglan have to offer.

Wonderful Eatery! Delicious Breads, Garlic Prawns and top it off with The yummiest chicken nibbles. Had no room for dessert. Hey theres a next time! Wonderful service from Lisa the owner. My partner and I Took a day trip to raglan and wanted a quick bite to eat, after looking online we found Orca. The menu looked great and the reviews were also very promising. The venue itself is very inviting aswell as being surprisingly very spacious, the friendly staff pointed me and my partner out towards the deck, it was a perfect view out across the water while waiting for our drinks and food. For our lunch we ordered the Caesar salad with the added option of grilled chicken as-well as a 6 pc of chicken wings The Caesar salad is what you’d expect, the sharp taste of Parmesan, the saltiness of the anchovies, crispness of the croutons, the fresh cos tossed in the iconic dressing, They also thicker cuts of bacon (lardons) which is a very nice touch. The chicken wings were Divine, they arrived to the table Crispy, Juicy, Sticky and Packed with flavour ( We immediately regretted not going with the 12 PC option) If anyone finds themselves in Raglan and needs lunch/Dinner I’d strongly recommend Orca

Loved the location. We picked a seat near the window overlooking the wharf so we could watch the activity. Coffee was good but the meal took forever to arrive. Might have been a one-off, but the staff didn't notice they hadn't served us our meals and kept looking at us as if we were taking up space they could use for other customers.

He especially loved their rendition of the big breakfast, which was a great interpretation of what is usually a boring, predictable meal. The customer service is amazing. We had an italian waiter who really looked after me & my friends & their 4 Tamariki a group of 7 diners. The food was so good we had burgers, lamb, ravioli, prawns, mashed potatoes, kids meals & sundaes & feijoa crumble desserts they were so good. The indoor & outdoor seating are great. My group of diners we sat outside where their were nice cushions & candles & just a really comfy seating. The kids got coloring in sheets & colored pencils to do while waiting for dinner. We had some red wine, shared calamari as starter then for main course we had Lamb rump and Beef cheeks with salad to share, we ended the meal with a glass of Tawny Port and Choc Mousse. My wife and I had dinner last night (22.3.19) The food was superb, especially the prawns and my medium rare sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. The waitresses and staff were very friendly, and the meals were delivered without undue delay. We had a lovely view of the sunset. There is a nice family atmosphere in this restaurant, and the food is reasonably priced and good value. My only criticism, a very minor one, is that the seats were hard and uncomfortable and need upgrading with padded seats to avoid a numb bum. Overall a great experience and the restaurant is a credit to Raglan. We shall return.

Wow. What a great semi casual dining experience. A interesting menu with the protein separated from the vegetables. You marry up your favourite combo. I had a sensational 250 gram steak medium rare with seasonal vegetables that had the most delicious blue cheese dressing. Genuine good value.

I had the pate for an entree and as a person who usually makes their own, because really good pate is hard to find, I can say I have met my match. Actually, it was sublime. Texture was incredible, the flavour was full and multi-layered. I had the duck for my main and again, I was taken to heaven. A really lovely meal. Very memorable. A vast contrast to my last trip to Raglan, when your restaurant was not there and it was a cafe. That was also memorable in a different way. Keep up the most excellent work. We will be back.

Love that they have Good George on tap, both the IPA & Cider. Bar snacks are good but only average. Good George beer deserves better. The biggest let down is the poor quality TVs they have for showing sport. The 2 best TVs in the bar show the TAB races etc. The TVs showing Sky sport are old and tired. I'm sure if they upgraded the TVs they'd fill the bar more often to watch the rugby etc.

We were in Raglan for two nights, we ate here the first night and came back the next. We did have breakfast and lunch at other places that were good, but Orca has food you'd be happy with in a top Auckland restaurant with a view you could only get on the West Coast. All the food was very good, We had the sirloin, the chicken and prawns (yes really), steak tartare, the squid and the duck. The only dish that lacked a bit in taste was the mussels. My only other complaint would be to sort out a rail for the bit when you walk in form outside. A few more wines and I may have walked in and fallen down it. Regardless. Top stuff Orca.
