Great value, yummy food in general other than the steak burger 🍔 which was pretty nice but, it was odd the taste and density of the steak, it was like as if the steak had been boiled. Polite staff, speedy service, clean environment, the outdoor option sitting in the sun 🌞 was lovely while waiting for the food to be ready. I am grateful for this takeaway place in Whakahau A.K.A. Renwicktown A.K.A. Renwick. I just noticed from the open hours mentioned, they let me order & served me outside of the stipulated open hours then closed. The steak spring roll is the yummiest neat I've had from them and the kumara chips are yum. I can eat, this meal was filling for lunch.

I can't actually remember the last time I had fish and chips this good! The crumbed dory was perfectly cooked and the chips were crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside and not too salty. Looking forward to our next road trip up Renwick way and will definitely be making a detour to get these again.

Food is average quality. Because the shop is in small town, no competitor, price is a bit expensive. Waiting time is quite long, proximity 15 mins at least. Local people normally order through phone call in advance, pick up.later.

The fish we chose was rig, which was fresh, delicious & massive in size, thoroughly enjoyed, they never disappoint us, highly recommend

Altho the order was difficult to place due to our accent, the food was delicious. Just having moved to Renwick we have found our favorite take away. The chicken in peanut sauce and vegetable on rice was divine. Just a slight comment, maybe the cabbage needs to be cut a bit smalller. We shall be back :)

The chips are amazing. Quite possibly the best take away chips I’ve ever had. Crunchy and crispy on the outside, perfect on the inside. The blue cod fish was equally as good. The batter was delicious and the fish was cooked perfectly. Will definitely visit here again next time we visit Blenheim.

Bring your own bottle of tomato sauce (ketchup) when you travel around NZ or pay for small packs. This place had great fish and chips and other options for a great value. We also had yummy real fruit ice cream.

Partner orded battered Blue Cod - soo good, restaurant quality, I was tight and had crumbed hoki, more crumb than fish and a bit overdone but still good, potato fritter (ordered one, got two) smaller than I was used to but good, partner's battered sausage also great.

Family run store, incredibly polite staff, reasonable price and very good feed. Clean and tidy and quick to complete orders even when busy. One of the best fish and chip stores I've been to for quite sometime. Well worth the trip from blenheim to come here.

I've called in here on the way back to Nelson several times now - and it's always the same: - Very polite young man taking the order (rare these days). - Personal handing over of the food with a big thank you (I certainly feel like my business was appreciated which in itself puts them in the top 10%!). - Chips are always cooked to perfection. - Hawaiian burger was supreme - very very rare to get a burger with a nice pattie (not the usual thin over-spiced rubbish). - Not a huge fan of their cheese and pineapple sandwiches (big circle of pineapple needs to be rethought) but still quite edible. - Prices were much the same as everywhere else - no better, no worse - quite reasonable. Like the terminator ... I'll be back!

Premo fish and burgers, expect to get beetroot with im guessing all burgers as we got Hawaiian and steak. Awesome customer service. We were recommended to go try and did not regret it!
