Absolutely can not fault this restaurant at all - from the amazingly friendly staff, to the view from the outside balcony, to the simply delicious food, it was 10/10. The blue cod dishes were truly amazing and good value too, and our desserts- cheese cake and Eton Mess - were the perfect end to a perfect meal. Oh, and the coffee was the best we’d had on our trip. Go and try this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!!

I was actually expecting more seafood variety on the menu. But they seems to serve typical restaurant menu. Not sure if it’s the same with dinner. But overall, it was a good experience.

Modern deco if a bit small, friendly staff cold beer. Food is great, has become our new local not quite a classic kiwi pub. Pool table and great deck on sunny days. Well worth a stop in for a checky drink or fine dining.

Another lovely meal at the Aparima Restaurant and Bar. My Salmon with the miso honey glaze was divine!!! Hubby's Ribeye Steak was great as well although, unfortunately the broccoli was overdone. Kids Thai salad and blue cod and chips was also good. Great service... an absolutely lovely evening 🥰

We had the mushroom soup, it was very tasty but too salty for me. They recommended the burger of the day and it was delicious. The blue cod was fresh and very well cooked, it was lacking salt (or maybe my taste was still compromised from the mushroom soup). The fries were good but something was missing. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. The service was good on the beggining but we had a hard time trying to get their attention to get our bill to leave.

Stopped off for coffee in the hopes some non-dairy options were available. They could offer us soy, coconut or almond! Very pleased with the range and went for three large flat whites, one almond. I've eaten here a lot and tried most things on the menu. Went with family this time and while the calamari thai salad was as good as ever, it was disappointing to see the solidly poached eggs and greasy rosti in the Eggs Benedict and the smaller than usual portion of blue cod. Consistency is always a factor I look for in a restaurant and it was lacking here this time.

Dropped in and the restaurant was fully booked but they let us sit in the bar area to eat. The lady that served us was super friendly, chatty and such great customer service. In all honesty, this was one of the best prepared meals I have had in a long time. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye steak. It was AMAZING! Great quality cut of beef and it chewed like a fillet. Cooked PERFECT! the vegetables on the plate were all super fresh and cooked perfectly. Broccoli, green beans, potatoes, etc. Just amazing. For entrees we had oysters and lamb wontons and what can I say? ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. If you find yourself in Riverton please have dinner here. The prices are reasonable and the staff is hard working and very friendly. What a great experience. Thank you!!!

Really nice country pub, this place has great food well presented, and staff happy to serve you. It has that country pub feel, but is a contemporary style building where you can sit on the deck on a great day overlooking the lagoon. Either go early or book a table as it is quite popular but well worth the effort.

One of our favourite places. Food is always perfect, staff have always been polite and accommodating. Highly recommend visiting . You may need to book in advance to ensure you have a seat, they can be very busy in evenings, weekends and during holidays and special events. The view is also beautiful!

This is a lovely little restaurant. The food is really top notch with a good selection of sit down meals and more pub lunch basket types of options. The view of the estuary and Riverton itself with the mountains on the horizon is really special. It is very accessable being on the main road and there is plenty of parking around the back.
