T.I visited with a group.
We were served very quickly and the food that was beautifully cooked and well presented in good time. They had the best method of recording each person's food and drinks request which resulted in a very quick and efficient checkout. I will recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

A.We shared the chicken poppers (gf), glad we did as it would have been too much for one of us! Followed with rack of lamb & pork belly (both gfo & gf). Wow! Tasted amazing & it was so fresh.... nom nom! I had the Lonely Goat Pinot but wouldn't go back for more just a little too tart. The servings were enormous and we couldn't finish. We were offered doggy bags. It's very rare I don't have desert.... well be back for more!
C.We (4 of us) have just had a wonderful meal tonight. The pork belly and mash was absolutely delicious as were the Ribs and steak. Also Sophie our waitress was great and an absolute delight. Thank you.

P.We have found a hidden gem in Rolleston. This wine bar/ fine dining restaurant is attached and contrast to the Rock sports bar next door. La maître d' was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The platter of entreé was faultless comprising of deep fried Brie, crispy bacon, Southern-style chicken bites, arancini and pesto, sticky sweet BBQ short ribs. I then had 2 lamb shanks slow braised in red wine sauce, potatl mash with crispy kumura on top of scattered courgette ribbons. Delicious. The dessert platter also complemented well. Great overall experience. Worth a long drive from Christchurch.
Ш.Always had nice meals here. The staff are great and fun. The kids loving coming here, and putting up their colouring for the monthly competition.
j.Lovely dinner at the quartz tonight. Especially impressed with our waitress shanae I beleive her name was.. very lovely and managed everything with a super smile. Slight hiccup with my burger but was dealt with with a smile.. food was fabulous.. prices are great absolutley love the kids platter and the offer of $6 kids meals before 6pm which is great for larger family's.
We will definitely be returning. P.s give shanae a raise.. she is a brilliant waitress. :-)
F.Always a great meal here, the chef is awesome. The burgers are our favourite - I love the vegetarian one. Good atmosphere and quick service. We always feel welcome.
P.Outstanding service tonight from entering , whilst we did not have a booking on this busy night , they still made a table for us. G.Great food and service! Traveling for work, I discovered this restaurant on the recommendation of the motel owner where I was staying. Staff are wonderful, friendly, efficient & helpful. Food is excellent, fantastic flavours and good value. I've had the lettuce cups (twice), Ribeye steak (was perfectly cooked) and poached chicken, all delicious. Highly recommended!

n.Great beer on tap - I love Panhead Ratrod. And I had a wonderful beef and bacon burger, my wife had lamb shank, also very good. I'd recommend them.

G.Superb. Great setting , - seats in front of an open fire ☺. We arrived for coffees just before closing time. The staff were very helpful, served great coffee and let us stay for as long as they could. Totally recommended.

J.The food and service were amazing! We shared the prawns, scallops, and the mussels with hot fresh baked garlic loaf bread. The prawns came in a delicious buttery sauce with herbs and spices. The scallops were served with little bites of sausage and a spicy pesto sauce. The mussels were served with a creamy tomato sauce and hot rye bread. Would definitely recommend this place. There is a good looking rock bar next door, but you should eat here before heading over.
p.s. I wrote the above before we had dessert.... pineapple cheesecake was hands down the best. It was light and fluffy goodness with bits of pineapple lumps interspersed throughout served with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with warm chocolate sauce.

L.Second visit in 3 days....The first time I had the Chicken burger, it was amazing and the chips were great as were the onion rings, the second time I had the Tuscan Chicken, it was the best dish I have eaten since the Park Royal back before the earthquakes, I couldn't fault it, the layered potato was amazing with it and the sauce superb! I photographed it to add to my Instagram page....Well done chef at Quartz Restaurant!!!
