Tasty but a bit too sweet for my personal taste, esp. the appetisers. Very friendly and attentive staff. Long waiting time when we came for dinner, probably due to a lot of takeaway orders.

This Thai takeaway/restaurant is tucked away in a corner, right next to Domino's Pizza. New World supermarket is in the vicinity as well. I've ordered mild beef Pad See Ew (on their menu as Pad C Yew) at $17.10 on 2 occasions so far. On the 1st occasion it was really flavourful - which encouraged me to want to return the 2nd time. On my 2nd visit it was still nice, but quite bland tasting. I think I'll give them one more try, but plan to change my order to a medium beef Pad See Ew to see if this makes a difference for me. I would recommend taking a shopping bag in to collect your takeaways. The 1st time I went in, I'd forgotten to take one and then had to do a hot potato exchange between hands on my way back to my car. On my 2nd visit the meal got put straight into a paper bag and I didn't realise until I got home that they'd charged 20 cents extra for it. I was annoyed with myself because I've got a boot full of bags (that I complain about taking up space virtually every time I open the boot lol). The service was fast and friendly both times (with a walk in order and a phone order). There is good parking in the vicinity but it gets quite manic finding/waiting for a park at times. I've yet to check out visiting Rolly Thai to make a comparison but this place is still well worth a visit going by my 1st visit. Will be back soon.

We ordered the beef salad and the seafood soup with some rice and I must say they were both fantastic, a taste explosion. The service was great and the food came out promptly. If you love Thai food you won't be disappointed.

First time we had been here and we were very impressed. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was delicious with generous quantities of meat and vegetables in our stir frys. I didn't find the wooden seats particularly comfortable but that would not stop me going back to dine.

Friendly fast service but food was a bit of a letdown.. based on the dishes we ordered I'd have to say if you enjoy Thai cuisine this is not for you. The overall taste impression is more asian fusion with a Chinese flavour, not Thai. Ordered two different starters, pork ribs and lemon grass chicken. Both dishes had a hoisin based sauce! The chicken had lemongrass garnish but the taste was overpowered by the sauce. The mains lacked the fragrant thai herbs necessary to be called thai. .

Superb. Amazing flavours, generous portions and very well looked after. The lady upsold everything and promoted what they have to offer so it was easy to decide and was very friendly specially to our two year old little man. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

Food are very delicious! Really love it! However, front house was fully booked with only 2 people waiting table. It was very short of staff at front house even though it was Monther’ Day. I can tell those waiters were hectic and doing their best to serve us. you really should have more staff waiting table. Long waiting time, more than 15 mins. I would have ordered another dish, but considering the waiting time, I gave up. What a pity! Do not like the rice, so sticky. Overall will come again as food awesome!

We came here for their $10 lunch specials. Ordered a pad thai and a stir fried. Portions are small, didn't really fill us (and we have quite small appetites), that's probably expected from a lunch special. The food itself is decent, not too greasy although still rather sweet as like most Thai food. Nothing particularly stood out for us except maybe the drawings on the walls. I was going to rate 3 stars, but I'm giving 4 stars because my mum came here on another occasion with her friend, also for the lunch specials, and they liked it.

Their food were still nice, however, i bought a green curry today, i asked for a complimentary rice. The front guy told me that i need to pay $1.5 for it. i tried all of their curries and stirfry in the past. All curries were comes with rice. I dont know if the policy has changed. When i place an order online there is no "add rice for $xx" section. so i am disappointed with this.

Is it possible to find authentic Thai in Rolleston? Yes you absolutely can! Fresh and Authentic Thai, either pick up or delivered straight to your door. The team at Thai Terrace are lovely and always had a positive experience with them. Highly recommended.

I really like Thai Terrace in Rolleston. The staff are laid back and friendly, and work hard to make sure you get a good experience. Today when we were there they were short-staffed, and our server was literally running up and down the restaurant to take orders and make sure customers weren't keep waiting. The value lunch menu is short and sweet but great value at ten bucks. The usual favourites are on it and they are all nicely made and arrive at the table quickly.

Food is very good but when we have been in restaurant when it is busy it is very noisy and difficult to hold a conversation comfortably. With no soft furnishings the sound echoes around the room. Otherwise great!
