B.Excellent dinner had here on a Thursday evening. My wife usually doesn’t finish her bibimbap but here she had no problem.
Highly recommended if you’re searching for true Korean food.
D.Have tried few Korean restaurants over the years when I am on holiday in Rotorua and have been very disappointed as I couldn't find any decent one until I came across this Arisu Korean restaurant this week. I am so glad I did. The new owners(husband and wife) are very friendly and attentive. Overall, very impressed with the food. The side dishes are also very nice as my son especially loves their kimich. I was there with my family for dinner two out of three nights. Highly recommend if you are after a good Korean food in Rotorua. I will surely be back next year when I visit Rotorua again.
Y.Thank you Arisu for the delicious Korean food I was craving during my 14 days managed isolation at Ibis Rotorua. I wish there was an online menu somewhere tho (i.e. either here or on FB etc). I couldn't find one. So I called the restaurant. Ordered Bulgogi beef, Spicy beef stew and Seafood Pancake (total $57). The main dishes came with rice and side dishes. They kindly delivered the food to the hotel for no charge as my hotel was near by and the order was over $50. I got the impression that they don't usually deliver even though the Google map says so. So I was very grateful! Everything was very delicious including the side dishes! 😋😋😋 As they don't have online order/payment syste, it's probably the best and easiest to pay Cash. I like Arisu more than the other Korean restaurant I tried on Uber Eats. Highly recommened!!! Thank you Arisu!!

V.We came on a Tuesday evening and had a wonderful experience at Arisu. Almost had the entire restaurant to ourselves until another couple came. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the place is very spacious and clean. We ordered the $29 unlimited bbq and sides. The bbq tasted amazing especially the beef bulgogi. The Doenjang stew was a bomb! Had our stomachs filled to the fullest. A place worth visiting. Will definitely come back to Arisu!

I heard they have just opened recently so I’m glad to be there at the beginning of the history of the restaurant.
The guy took care of us at all time and he gave us some extras.

A.This resto should be listed in top 10 Trip Advisor's where to eat in Rotorua. Service from the heart, the owner were very friendly and warm. He noticed i finished my kimchi within second and offered a top up for free, yeay! About the food, we ordered K-BBQ combo. We previously just about to eat Sundubu soup because we dont eat pork and the BBQ comes with soup that we can't eat. The owner then offered us to order the K-BBQ with no pork, and changed the soup tailored to the combo to our favorit Sundubu. The combo size was massive for us, more than 5 different kind of Korean pickles and appetizers, steamed rice, soup, 3 types of meat (normally chicken, beef and pork), 3 types of veggies & mushroom for the BBQ. Fresh, delicious and so many of it, it felt like a food carnaval in your mouth.
A.We eat out a lot and this is one of our best experiences dining out. The food was absolutely delicious. Very generous portions (we had a lot to take home) The extra side dishes that come along with your mains are very surprising and just as tasty. They have put the food together really well to compliment your taste buds. Great customer service very friendly people. If you enjoy international dishes this is a place you must go to. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back again!

S.Seriously amazing Korean food. Would happily be going to Arisu even if it was in a big city! From the stew to the BBQ to the cold side dishes, we loved every part of our dinner! The couple who run the restaurant are also extremely friendly. Will be back every time we come to Rotorua!

M.Really nice restaurant! We had never heard of it, and were actually on our way to another one when we saw Arisu and decided to take a chance. Very pleasantly surprised and will be going back there again very soon. The food was amazing and the service was friendly and fast. Only comment would be to offer beers and wines for those of us who are that way inclined, but even so I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to support local businesses in these hard times.
N.They offer variety range of Korean food. They use more natural healthy seasoning and fresh ingredients. I love their warm welcoming hospitality and delicate service. I highly recommend this spot to visit and enjoy the flavours.

The kimchi stew was AMAZING!! Bulgogi Hotpot was to die for! On top of that, the staff were really generous and took care of us really well.
Really recommend Arisu if you want a money’s worth feed, you won’t regret it!

굉장히 친절하시고 가격도 싸고 양은 푸짐합니다.

I had only one lunch special (pork seasoned bulgogi) for the time being, but it was a good meal that I felt the deep umami and spiciness that I eat in Korea.
The bosses are also kind and overflowing. If you are in Rotorua, be sure to stop by and try it!

뉴질랜드 남북섬 3개월간 여행하면서 들렸던 한국식당중 당연최고였습니다. 시간상 점심특선하나만(돼지 양념불고기) 먹어봤지만 한국에서 먹는 그 깊은 감칠맛과 매콤함이 고스란히 느껴졌던 한끼 든든한 식사였습니다.

I had been traveling whole of new Zealand for 3 months and this place is the best I've ever been in NZ. They have a lunch menu which is easy to choose among many menus but it's so big portion and really delicious. If you like Korean food, this is the right place you can feel real korean food.
