T.Chapmans on a plate. Food was pretty good. Desserts were yum faves were Creme brulee, choc mousse & brandy snaps. The service was awesome. Will be back

K.This place is fantastic. I have just booked to go for the umpteenth time, & cannot recommend it highly enough. I have been going for many years now. A big variety of food, esp mouthwatering fresh seafood, & friendly staff. Top Tip: Make sure you leave enough room for the large dessert selection!

The manager Rajiv Sharma was super friendly, came to our table couple of times asking if everything was ok! The waiteres were so great too!delicious food. Will definataly go back there.thanks Antony

R.Was a good night even with our 7 week old. Was very handy having the self service coffee vending machine too which I used to get hot water for baby's bottle. Dishes were well topped up and tasted good.

I'm really picky with food & I must say this is our first time we actually finish our plate, normally when we go restaurant our plate are never finish cause of the taste.. thank you team for making us customer leave happy 🤗 will definitely recommend our family/friends back at Auckland ofa atu
T.Omg, first in first served! The staff the chefs were amazing, had fun with them, very relaxed & tentative to our needs....oh but the food, well im easily pleased, was D-VINE! But to have HOT buns & wholemeal too....YUMMM
H.I stayed up all night the night before and decided to have breakfast at Chapman's before going to bed. I was definitely overdressed for breakfast as I haven't been to bed but the staff were kind. The gentleman at the reception was very kind about it with a few nice pleasantries. The food was fine all the standard breakfast items you expect. I promise I'll get out of my dress and heels next time when I return ;)

b.Visiting from Auckland, we ventured to Chapman's at the Holiday Inn from our accomodation around the corner. The buffet dinner was great, staff were attentive and helpful. $52 I thought was a bit steep, but the experience of the food made me forget the bill quickly.
M.Excellent food quality. It was a very busy restraunt but had plenty of space we were celebrating a very good friends birthday and it was awesome. Staff great, buffet great quality. Definitely taking my girl here for a night out.

Oyster - quality ok, lots of broken shells tho. I have tried oysters in many restaurants and can tell the person (or trainee?) who opened the oysters was not skillful at all.
Mussels - good, better than oysters (surprisingly!)
Smoked salmon - too dry.
Prawns - good.
Salad - fresh!
Soup - I’m a soup-lover. Yum!
Hot dishes - average, a number of choices.
Desserts - lots of choices! Some of them were awesome!
I will go again when when I stay at this hotel because I liked the desserts and the staff was very friendly (although the oyster was disappointing).
R.Lovely dinner. Kids loved it, great selection and everything delicious. 10 minute wait due to something wrong with the chaffing dishes, but quickly changed over and complimentary drinks were offered. Excellent service.highly recommend

L.The food was excellent, the staff were excellent. But why is it everytime I go there I have issues with the drink order. This is the 4th time in a row there has been an issue, its gets forgotten, the wrong drink comes, or you don't have the product. I love you Chapmans but you are testing my patience.
C.We had as group booking and staff were lovely. Not being able to eat seafood and salads did leave only a few choices in food . Roast lamb was delicious but beef dish was so hard to cut and wasn't edible to be honest. Way overcooked. Roast veggies were delicious too.

K.It was just ok. I have 2 children and other then the desserts they didn't really cater for them. My daughter mainly ate the bread. They didn't have a kids drink menu but were able to make a traffic light when we asked them which I think is awesome. The staff are really nice and helpful. I think the restrooms shld be closer felt like I had to walk for miles but overall it was just ok

A.Restaurant staff were lovely. Just exactly what we felt like seafood was yummy. I just cant fault this place. We travelled from Auckland to Rotorua just to come back here. Whanau if your ever in Rotorua come here for dinner .. everything is excellent. Will defs be back here again. Favourite place in Rotorua. Please tell your chef easy on cooking the beef please. Part from that everything else was well worth travelling for.

N.Visited on a Sunday evening, so restaurant was quite quiet. Good service - staff got us seated promptly and were quick to clear away plates. Reasonable selection of meals in the buffet, great selection of desserts.

J.We were part of a group. Over booked..I'd say yes..Guests were seated all over the place around the bar some what disorganised. At what point do they say Were Full.... Food and the selection quality for an IHG hotel was very ordinary compared to other IHG hotels.

K.Mace- Sorry, I have never actually been to this restaurant. I had notification that I had given it a 2 star review but my 2 yr old daughter must have got my phone and accidently reviewed it. I'm not sure if its possible to remove it? Sorry for the inconvenience.

e.Made a booking for 7:30 pm. We get there and It was busy. I was told 5 minutes and we will have it sorted.......Half n hour later and 3 times of me asking if our table was ready and being forgotten. Thank you to the manager for remedying this situation.
