Nice Big Mac Donald’s. Beautiful layout and culture. Nice big sitting area for people watching children in big playground. One of the nicest Mac Donald’s I’ve gone too.

Was ok place ...cleanliness was an issue ..all the sofas were sticky as if somebody had spilled drinks ...all of them ..also they didn't scan pass ..just looked at and was okay ....

One of the few chain restaurants decorated with Maori ornaments. Seems that the Rotorua brings the best of the culture. Service was fast and decent. The place is large, with a nice kids area, along with seats outside. Inside is spacious and well distributed. Toilets were clean and everything looks organized. It was the third time in this venue.

This is the nicest looking McD's I've ever been in. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good authentic ambience of this outlet was the only standout point. Order kiosks were not working. We liked the muffins from all day breakfast menu but the coffee was pretty okay. All in all an average experience being here. They have their own parking area which is good.

The ordering touch screen stations didnt function properly. Placing an order at the counter, customer service = zero. Very rude and unfriendly staff. However, food was prepared really fast and delivered to our table by a friendly guy. Medium coffee wasnt really filled to the top. Overall okay.

Average branch. Results can be variable, food served cold and orders not correct. Prefer the Te Ngae one. Mar '19 update: standards have lifted so added a star. Feb 22 update. It really is just a rushed branch. How can you serve food that's cold? I still come here as part of a group, but I choose to eat next door now.

Probably one of the biggest McDonald in Rotorua. Plenty of chairs and room to seat. They do provide rooms if you want to host an event. Small area for children to play. Quick service too.

It was nice to try ordering foods from a kiosk. It was first visiting a Kiwi McDonald, was another level.

It's along the main road (Fenton). I had difficulty finding it's entrance which I found to be along the drive thru exit, so as I tried to enter the main entrance it was also in the pathway of the drive-thru. The cross street had an entrance that was on the backside. Besides the exterior building confusion I witnessed, it was a clean fast food place with friendly and helpful staff members. I enjoyed the cultural Maori art and sculptures while dining inside.

I did enjoy it. Experience was good, entertaining and learned something. Food was OK. Glow worms was a let down. I’m debating if worth the full price that we paid. I wished I had gotten a discount but did a last minute thing.

Typical McDonald's - same food and the fries were cold. The service was reasonable - we used one of the screens to order and had it delivered to our table. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but every vacant table was messy and the floor was very sticky.

This place was always our go to place every Wednesday, then after awhile, food started going down hill, so we stopped visiting for awhile and stuck with Owhata & Fairy Springs. We went back after awhile, and food was extremely delicious.... Went here as reviews for burger king were bad. Well they got the order correct, but get served cold chips, and have to find a quiet spot from the music, and what is it paying for extra lettuce when there should be enough in the first place.. These places are getting bad for loud music when having to eat in. Just re-confirms for me having to stop eating at these places.

Disappointing on the day we were there that the self serve screens were not working properly. It was somewhat frustrating, and queues developed. Staff, when they got your order, were quick to fulfill it. Cleanliness was also an issue on the day. This was likely due to compounding issues of high number of customers, system errors, and lower staffing levels due to being a public holiday.

The staff are so nice and helpful. Their ppsitive attitudes give you a welcoming vibe. Even though, it's the busy Easter holidays, they still ask kindly what else we need after delivering our meal to our table. The foods are all labelled clearly. Since it's Easter, some of the staff wear cute bunny hats that can flap it's ears when you press it's paws. I asked one staff if I could press the paws and he let me. :)

I love the unique wood and Maori designs at this McDonalds. Very busy when I was there. Only a couple of friendly smiling staff....the rest looked like they didn't want to be there. The young staff were getting lost trying to find numbered tables and were getting orders wrong. A young male staff member clearly saw rubbish drop from his single tray where he was standing and he didn't bother picking in up off the ground

Burger buns are never warm. Fries are always cold. Icecream cones are always inconsistent in size. It's always messy. COFFEE is the absolute BEST and bumps what would have been a 1star review up to a 3.

Not really all McDonalds fault, mostly because so many people today do not know how to behave and use public toilets respectfully. A sad commentary on many (not all) members of the public. I had a hui to go to, and Rotorua was Central to all participants, rang and booked meeting room. We all arrived from various areas, had brunch, had meeting and back to Auckland. But what I really want to rave about is the mat at the front door, goes all the way to the door, SAFETY done correctly vs on the cheap, so many petrol stations and malls could grow from a visit to this store. Feeling safe

Good sized mc Donalds, has a good mc cafe, this place gets quite busy at meal times. Generally I've had good experience here however last time we visited they missed items from or order, they did end up bringing the items to us after we raised the point but it did take quite a while for them to bring them meaning we had finished all our food in the meantime. So me and my friend where sitting in front of these people... I went to go get a ice cream and the adult man decided to hit my friend... All I seen was a bunch of girls walk upto the man to protect my friend while all that was happening the workers were just laughing at them cause they were watching from the camera... So the man decides to throw his drink and my friend so I grabbed my coffee and followed him and his parents outside and I threw my coffee and them luckily I got them both... So I went back to the counter to order the ice cream and then they say there not severing to us so basically they blamed us.. That Mcdonald has a bad customer service out of all the Mcdonald I have been to.

Went to maccas after work today and ordered a large mac attack, with no seasoning, no pickles and steamed buns with no salt on fries, and 6pack nugg combo. Got the whole order, and opened up one big mac and it only had one pattie, I didn't take much note, cause I figured oh what the heck. Then I opened my s3cond big mac, and only one pattie in that too.. tryed ringing 4 times but it seemed to be disconnected or suming... Like really. Though I'm quite known for my order whoever was in the kitchen needs to look at the pictures on how to make a big mac it's with 2 patties not one. Thankyou

Sat close to toilets and we had to move away as the smell of urine was really strong everytime someone opened the door to toilet and the cleaner chose to scoot a cup lid further under the table rather then pick it up and dispose of it. Then when I took a closer inspection of the floor area I noticed the effort was below par not good.

Unsurprisingly average...waited 10 days for somebody to come to the counter to serve us (the only customers), wiped my own table with the stray cleaning spray that had been abandoned on another table (again, we were the only people seated in that area), three items missing from our order, warm floppy fries...you know, just the normal visit to McDs lol. Maybe understaffed today? Still, I can't help but go back time after time.

I have been neglected by the staff that work there, drinks taste disgusting, food comes out cold and over cooked at the same time, and overall, it was a horrible experience and I will be speaking to the manager of the establishment, not happy!!!!!!

Kiosk ordering is fine but when order is delivered and an item is missing the rest of the meal goes cold while you queue to sort out the missing item.

This McDonald's is a really great place the decor is really good for the area as it has carvings and maori themes which is great and suits Rotorua.
