G.We randomly stopped here for dinner for our 27th Wedding Anniversary, and we're so glad we did. The food was amazing, the portion sizes were spot on - we shared an entree, had a main each (with swapsies) and a dessert each, and left feeling satisfied with every plate scraped clean.
Number 8 Wire nailed (pardon the pun) setting the ambience with lighting, and a music selection which was just the right volume to enjoy without needing to yell over. Another plus is the menu was easy to read with a clear font against a while background - great for these older eyes of mine. The chairs were super-comfy, and the tables large enough to hold the meals and not feel cramped.
T.Me and my husband very much enjoyed our time here at number 8 wire! We had our really good friends come 2 weeks before, and raved about the food
and especially about the A+ customer service, so we made a phone booking, which was super easy.
The food was cooked to perfection, and the service was amazing. Yogi really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and even got us hooked on a new wine. We definitely recommend coming to Number 8 wire! You won't be disappointed 😁👍

C.Highly impressed. Had a group of 9 for a Xmas work dinner. My steak was absolutely on point and all the other meals entrees and desserts were beautifully presented. Service was amazing and what great atmosphere. Well done Number 8 wire we will be back.

S.We had a wonderful dinner here and it’s now one of my new favourites in Rotorua. Delicious steak cooked to perfection and beautiful venison carpaccio. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town!
