M.This is a fantastic restaurant that offers some of the best Kiwi food I have had in a while. The tasting platter we started with was incredible tasting and great value. The beef burger I had was huge and simply devine. The other people in my group all enjoyed their meals as well. The chef's did a fantastic job. The happy hour (before 7pm) drinks were on $7 and you can also get a 2L jug of beer for just $25. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
L.Cocktails and yummy food!! Those ribs were delicious and just falling off the bone. No knife is needed, and let's not forget the pork belly bites. So juicy 😍😍 Also ❤️ that you can pick your own platter of food and not get stuck with things you don't like. And if you love cocktails, then you will be in heaven. It's a perfect way to end a year 🍺🥙🍾🥗

M.We had our daughters 20th Birthday dinner here, which in attendance was 15 adults & 6 children. There was a bit of a wait for our meals, but hey it’s to be expected if you dine with a large group. Great restaurant to dine, excellent service, food to die for, awesome atmosphere all around, enjoying the vibe and last but not least AMAZING & GREAT STAFF. Thank you so much “OUR HOUSE” Rotorua, it is always a joy pleasure to dine at your place. A.We had an awesome dinner meal here. The crispy salmon was done to perfection. I asked for heaps of broccoli to go with my salmon by swapping out the mash and the cauliflower. My wish was granted! I had a meal fit for an emperor. The staff were awesome too, i wish it was possible to give a 10/5 score for Our House. Thank you, whenever I am in Rotoroa I will visit you for sure.
B.Just had an incredible lunch at Our House. The sharing plate with 4 choices was presented well, excellent large portions and delicious. The staff were doing an excellent job for a busy lunch while maintaining their COVID regulations. Highly recommend.
S.The staff were really friendly, offering suggestions of what we should do while visiting Rotorua. The food was decent sized portions and very tasty, with great tasting drinks. Their ika mata was absolutely beautiful, the best I have had. The fish was tender and jam packed with lots of fresh vegetables.

V.An amazing spot to stop for lunch. Beautiful kai, polite and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Cannot recommend the ribs and creamy mushrooms enough! The spread of starters is a great way to order and try this delicious menu.
R.We went to Rotorua for conference in April and decided to head out for dinner. Our House located on Eat Streat in Rotorua was the bomb. There are so many places to choose from on this street but settled on this place. It was an amazing choice. Small kitchen but the food was the bomb dot com. Awesome and friendly staff, great music, just excellent vibes
J.Took far too long for our food to come out over 1/12 hours from arriving. We came early for dinner to miss the dinner rush at 5.30pm and there was only a handful of tables aside from us.
Food was yummy when it finally arrived but we were some hangry people. Too long for kids to wait.
Service was friendly and polite and apologetic despite the really long wait.
P.Great service. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful. I guess because they actually pay and look after their staff. Massive food portions. Lots of nice options to choose from. Nice to actually see some te reo Māori in a restaurant as well. Definitely worth a visit.
S.This was our first visit. James, the waiter set up the table before we arrived. The first dish, Pork Belly with sweet plum sauce, melts in our mouth. The fettuccine yummy, creamy, lots of chicken and bacon slices and is good portion. The steak has amazing fat content and melts in our mouth. Staff was very friendly, polite and greeted us with passion. Outstanding!

From the Friendly staff to the warm inviting atmosphere, Our House is a Vibe for the whole whanau to gather and make precious memories together. Large Portions for the Auntys and Uncles with Board games and coloring activities for all the Tamariki. We love a 2for1 deal massive Nachoes and Moist fall off the Bone Ribs

E.Wow! Came in for lunch and we were not disappointed. We were recommended this place by our canopy guide.. The pork belly bites were amazing. I had the mussel fritters and they were filled with mussels and the mix was so tasty. Happy with everything I had today and had a Tuatara Pilsner to wash it all down. My FIL had the fish and chips and he said it was very nice. He said it was light, crispy and very fresh. My fiance had the chicken parmigiana and he said it tasted like a home cooked meal. My brother in law has the open steak sandwich and he was the first to finish his meal. Service was great and atmosphere was unique. Looked like a back garden and I loved the Maori songs they played. Would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone visiting as prices are very fair and well for what you receive. Generous, even. My fiance and BIL had the Tuatara Lager which they raved about. Best place I've been to in Rotorua.

I recommend to go with a 4 dollar coffee. You can see it in the blue coffee cup on my picture.
One of the cheapest (I mean the price ;)) coffee I had in New Zealand ☺️
B.Absolutely fabulous . We.were a party of 6 without a booking but that was not a problem for them. We all had something different off the menu . They all arrived at the same time and every meal was superb . The vegetables were the talking point as fresh not frozen. Nothing was to much trouble to the staff. Special mention for Brooke. Outstanding front of house plus waiting. Highly recommend to others and would definitely dine there again.

The menu made it hard to decide on one dish as it was all so very tempting.
Everyone in the group found their meal tasty and a generous size.
We all commented that it must be a good work culture here because the staff all looked happy which trickled down to us experience great customer service.

R.My group of 6 spent 10 mins choosing from menu displayed outside. Waiter met us at entry point and took us to a table. When we were seated, he told us they had run out of all fish dishes, ribs and the speciality burger. Some of the group had chosen these. Very disappointing. He should have given us this info at the entry point. Very sneaky. . Shame on you.
B.Professional staff good service and most importantly great food! We made four and a half our trip especially to come here and they never disappoint! Anthony was very friendly and made sure we were made comfortable and felt like we were at home.
If you are in Rotorua defintley go out of your way to come here!!!
C.Our House has one the most engaging and home like energies I've ever experienced in a restaurant. Speaking from a kiwi perspective I'm yet to find a restaurant quite like this one. It has kiwi classics that are delicious and familiar.
The staff are relaxed and approachable. They make you feel so comfortable and welcome. You get such warm vibes here. You come to Our House for a meal or shall I say feast! -that fills not only your stomach but your soul. 😄❤

E.We had my daughters 16th at Our House last night and it wasn't the best unfortunately. I'm a frequent customer there and never have any complaints, usually we love it (hence why we booked there for her 16th). There was about 20 of is and majority of the meals were very average. A couple of them we even had to send back. Really over cooked chicken patties and cold vegetables :(.

e.food beautifully fabulous, lots of options to choose from. Kids menu is great burgers are huge,salmon was beautiful, mussels were delish, we order pink panther and the traffic light which the kids loved!!!really nice pink panthers!!service was better then great, coffee great, seating very groovy(somewhere youd wanna hang out and eat with the kids) decorative colours, and really reasonably priced.
over all a 10/10 dining experience would happily go again

M.It's always a pleasure to dine at Our House, whether with friends/whānau or work related business. Lovely staff and a great menu, with so many favourites that it's hard to choose what to eat! The little booth room is good for privacy, while the inside and outdoor area is ideal for large groups.
J.This was our first visit and it was a great experience. The ambience is very welcoming and the music pleasant. Great food and service with not too long waiting times for your food to arrive. The two for one vouchers are great and makes us visit the place more often despite our busy schedules.

They have a range of fun games and activities to enjoy while you're waiting for your mealand you can even sit and listen to one of the live bands playing. My favourite thing about Our House is that everything including the menu has bilingual options for English and Te Reo. It really feels like a welcoming home. Ka Pai Our House !!
S.Best steak I have had in a long long time.... grilled to perfection and so tender and delicious.... I will be back again and again.... great place for the kids, bar staff are awesome, great atmosphere... very welcoming, as you would expect from a Maori owned establishment.... Aroha Nui!!!!!

P.First, I never leave reviews for places but I couldn't not leave one here. If you are ever traveling through Rotorua or live there, you NEED to stop in to Our House... *Cue the music* 🎵 In the middle of Eat Street, Our House!🎵 Everything is amazing, food, service and the cocktails are bomb as! Just the whole wairua of the place is great. Anthony was our server and was so welcoming as well as everyone who we spoke to. I can't wait to go to the cocktail lounge that they own next door next time we visit.

We had the pulled pork fries with gravy and sour cream.the pulled pork was dried up old roast and stringy not much of it the gravy was packet .we mentioned this to the serving person and she said she was going to tell the chef.
No sorry no offer of a free drink or coffee no reduced fee
Ww will never go back which is sad because it used to be so good
The waitress needs to stop taking the plates from the table before we finished our drinks and food sour cream. Was good

M.Have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere and the service are the best in town. Theres a good menu with offerings to suit everyone. We usually have kids in tow and the games keep them entertained while waiting - our kids hate waiting for their food, but not here.
I recommend the mussels - delish. And all burgers have been so tasty and huge. My husband is a big eater and has always walked away more than satisfied! Something for everyone :)
K.Yes I love going to Our House & I have eaten there many times & one time was for my Birthday & the food was always delicious. All the staff gave excellent customer service aswell. I have also been there to listen to the bands & singers.

A.Our House is a favorite place to be especially for a few drinks after work with friends and family. Today I redeemed a Facebook coupon for 'buy 1 get one free' for bacon and eggs. It was well worth the effort!! Food was delicious, atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were polite. Bargain pricing for brunch today!! I think that the power outage wasn't planned... despite that, the experience was superb. I felt for the furry of people whom arrived just after the outage too...in any case, highly recommend trying the coupons and if this isn't available to you, come on down anyway...it's a good vibe all round.

We decided to have our Mums birthday there and had family from Gisborne & Hamilton who all enjoyed the food the service and the impromptu live music. L.Went in for Sunday breakfast. Waited 40mins for food as was rather busy. Waitress did warn us and offered to take our order for 2 before a large group that had just been seated. Food was delish and well portioned.
M.Was an absolutely amazing meal. Wednesday had a 2 for 1 steak with a quality cut of meat. Happy hour until 6pm for a cheap bottle of beer and a cocktail menu for all tastes. The meal was perfect in every way. Had the prawn cocktails and mussel pot for starters and normally you would expect perhaps a dozen mussels but here they just filled the pot. The steak was cooked to perfection with generous portions. Would have had dessert but was absolutely stuffed. Service was phenomenal, entrees were out fast and as soon as the entrees were finished, the mains were just coming out. At 45 dollars per person for this meal I would reccomend this place to ANYONE in the area as it is worth it!

A.Our house is an amazing place to go to. I’m a vegetarian so I ordered the loaded fries without bacon or gravy. They were really good but the sweet chilli sauce was really sweet, but I think that was just me. I had my two young siblings with me and the got the cheeseburger and the fish and chips and they said they rated their food 11/10 so I think that was good. The other two people I was with ordered the Hei hei burger and said it was the best burger they have ever had. The kids activities kept them busy until the food came, and they got a free chocolate sundae after. The sundaes are really yum and their kids ones are a great size. Overall I would rate the place 10/10

T.A last minute choice to go out for breakfast looked on fb for recommendations and our house popped up, now I've only recently moved to rotorua from Auckland so I didn't have any expectations but boy was I blown away I have photos somewhere on my phone ordered the big brekkie and it was ON!! Bacon was crispy yummy sausage tasty bread, but the "highlight" was the homemade beetroot relish and kumara hash brown freaking delish all round definitely my fav spot in rotorua x
N.There is something so special about this place! Firstly the food was out of this world; I ordered the mussels with garlic butter and my mum ordered the lamb shank - both incredible (and huge!). But the best thing about this place was the staff, so friendly and so welcoming. I can't describe to you what a lovely warmth and vibe they gave the place - I left feeling so happy and warm. Thankyou for a beautiful experience , I will definitely be back!

Reason for 3 stars: this restaurant has a song selection thing, so I selected some songs and you skipped the first song: Godzilla by blue oyster cult, I saw the music video come up then go away. I wouldn't mind this so much if I hadn't decided to choose more songs which you played all of. So what I did is wait until the app let me choose Godzilla again, which I did, and then it never got played. Why? I suggested stuff of the same genre and you didn't skip that. My favourite song is fu manchus cover of Godzilla which wasn't on there so I played the original and it got skipped. Smh

A.The service from the gentleman working all three afternoons I came here was the best in three weeks traveling New Zealand. The lunch special is a good value and runs till 5 - both the pork chops and especially the chicken parmigiana are solid. Nice that they also still served coffee at that time as well. Didn’t make it for nighttime drinks but it seems like it’d have a good vibe.

D.Decided average. Some of the positives were the friendly staff, quick service, and a kiwiana decor. The negative was the food. Its kiwi food for sure and like most kiwi food it's uninspired, bland and boring. I had the ribs which were overcooked and covered in the same generic, tastless BBQ sauce you find at most pubs. In the world of sauces and rubs, why cop out the cheapeat, flavourless option? The sides were unremarkable chips and coldslaw. My wife had the vege burger which was fine by her reckoning. Kid had the chicken and chips which came out before our mains which was a nice touch. Ultimately boring and not worthy of a return visit.
