Amazing staff our server was lovely and really funky style in the restaurant. I felt their breakfast menu wasn't very extensive - the only meal we had tried here however other than that service and experience was good.

Just had the most amazing dining experience here. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was superb - the flavors were so yummy! Our drinks were great - they make a pretty good pina colada. A hidden gem we have driven past many times and never even thought to stop. Wish we had been sooner. Will definitely be back again :-)

Came as an initial party of 10, turns out most of us wanted to enjoy the social club so 30+ of us showed up! Staff were friendly, made great recommendations and handled service like pros. Highly recommend you come here for a good time when down in Rotorua 👏 and I didn't even get started on the food 👌 awesome

Haven't been for a while and hoped it had changed, but it hasn't. Hard to get service when mostly empty. Lady behind bar clearly doesn't want to be there. Waiters friendly enough but forgot things. Food especially starters are on the pricy side but tasty.

I felt it was overpriced for smallish meals. When paying, two items we didn't order were part of the bill. They were quickly removed without investigation. Accidents happen, but it's off-putting. The decor inside is interesting however and it has a nice spacious feel. The staff were friendly. We luckily had a 50% discount voucher and without that I would have regarded this restaurant as below average value.

Really enjoyed my first visit at the Social Club last month. When it first opened, there was a hearsay that they only served vegan food which put me off yet I was ecstatic when I went there to find out that they offer more than just vegan. Loved all the food that I’ve ordered. The only downside during that visit was it took ages for our order to arrive! That was almost an hour!! Must have thought that the waitress forgot to put on our orders coz the people on the table next to us had their food served first when we came and ordered first. Lucky (that my patience was at its best that day and..)that their mango cider was so tasty which made my whole experience better. Would still like to come back to the Social Club though and see if it would change my first impressions with them.

We stopped by for a quick bite. Have driven past many times and wondered what it was like. We were quite surprised when we stepped through the doors, the quirky exterior only goes some way to preparing you for how well laid out the interior is. Plenty of spacious and comfortable seating options. Super friendly staff. They had a great high chair for our baby too, so he was comfortable whilst we ate. Toilets are pretty nice too, according to my wife! And the food, it's pretty much some of the best we've had for a lunch bite in Rotorua. We will definitely be back.

Spacious dinning area, rustic place, love the old jeep parked inside with a fire on the deck of jeep which also serves as a very quaint table. Seated benches with quilted covers to gove that cosy comfort look and feel. I admire different and originality here. Food presented well, tasty with good service. Have to try it.

The menu here did not excite me at all! BUT after a farewell dinner at Social Glub I am converted. Our table had 7 different dishes and all looked, smelled and tasted fabulous. We were prepared a very special dessert which was simply delightful. The service was outstanding and I will definitely be returning. My only disappointment is that I didn’t take photos of the meals, the presentation was great.

Great atmosphere although the music was a little loud if you wanted conversation. Enjoyed my meal and was most impressed with waiting staff. There was an issue with my order but they apologised, immediately took it back to the kitchen and replaced it with another meal promptly. They went out of their way to be helpful.

Lucky to have a place like this in Rotorua. Warm friendly atmosphere with a fantastic setup! Had the Social tower for breakfast brought out with someone who takes pride in the food they produce. The Social Club has been a delight to eat at. I ordered the bacon and eggs which was absolutely mouth watering from the presentation up to its taste. The amazing chef was Harley who also had a brilliant attitude that brightens your day. Highly recommended.

Yesterday 3/05/2019 we went to the Rotorua social club for my husbands birthday lunch. The food was Devine. When the waitress found out it was my husband's birthday they did a little extra on the dessert we had ordered by writing happy birthday in raspberry coulis on the plate with a candle and actually sang to him in Maori happy birthday. The 3 girls who were on duty about 2pm yesterday 03/05/19 did this for him. Very impressed with the staff and will definitely be back again. Thank you girls and the chef for going that extra mile. Made an old bloke very happy. 🤗
