M.Been coming here for 15 years. Easily my favourite restaurant. Sarah & John are hospitality masters and their recipes are incredible. Never fails to impress!
H.This is the most incredible gem hidden in Rotorua. My boyfriend and I came here tired from a day of biking and quickly regained our energy. Wonderful, passionate waitress served us and made the most devine cocktails I have ever had. Food was faultless - fresh, devine, and brought straight by the chef! Cannot recommend higher.
T.Went there for dinner tonight and got the the Chicken Chimichanga. Really delicious flavours, thought the mango dressing on the salad was a great compliment to all the other flavours, and they have great hot sauce! Also excellent service. Highly recommend ✨✨✨✨✨

S.One of our favourite places in Rotorua. Lovely simple family owned business with great food at a really reasonable price. The drinks are amazing and it’s great when the owners show so much passion and want you to learn how to make great drinks at home as well. Highly rate this little restaurant, just remember it’s super popular and small so you must book. Can’t wait to go back.
P.This place always amazes me, the food the chef puts out is so dam tasty and fresh. It's almost too nice cause you don't want to stop eating it! The lady who runs the front of house is so good at what she does. It feels like she is inviting you in to her own home. Very friendly and jovial, makes great food and cocktail suggestions and is just awesome. This place is definitely always on our list of places to eat at when we visit.
L.Even though they are operating on a more limited basis due to COVID-19, the food is still absolutely delicious and the atmosphere as wonderful as described in previous posts. It was my husbands first time trying Latino food and he loved it. We had chimichangas and taqueria con carne, after the most amazing corn chips and three dips ( highly recommended). And the best margarita I’ve tasted since leaving California!
C.Incredible Latin American restaurant in Rotorua! Had the most delicious dinner, every course was fantastic, and the margaritas were stellar - sugar or salt rims, your choice.
Lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere, and top notch service, cannot wait to return!
M.A special treat to finally get back to Sabroso last night . Under the traffic light system it was reassuring our vaccination passes were checked and social distancing between tables. The ambiance, cuisine and service was truely outstanding and a great way to celebrate with loved ones. Sarah and John are consummate hosts.
J.Y'all...Believe da hype! Sabroso is liiiiiiit! Total fire!!🔥🔥🔥 Beef taquitos and the queso are amazery. Try the tres amigos dips! Nom nom nom. Beautiful mojitos, the shrimp stew (Moqueca) was stunning. Perfectly cooked, and flavourful! Chimichangas stole my partner's heart. Rotorua is soooo lucky to have this gem! We have to make a 6 hour return trip just to get a taste of Latinidad sumptuousness!
