Probably the only place in Rotorua where you will find genuine Sichuan style spicy food. If you like chilli, this is the place for you.

Delicious kai and cheap lunch specials. Lunch comes with the dish and a drink for $14.80. Portions are quite large.

The restaurant was packed with people when we arrived with no booking. The staff quickly seated us once another group left and then served our food within 10mins. I was blown away by the speed of the wait staff!!! Good food too.

This place is the best! It was honestly pretty much our highlight of going to Rotorua, we liked it so much we went twice. It's the first restaurant I've seen in New Zealand that offers authentic Chinese breakfast foods. The food is delicious, I really enjoyed the massive hua Juan as well (see photo for how big they are even when they're half eaten). I would recommend that if you like spicy food you actually get some spice added, we had the beef noodles twice and they were even better with some more spice the second time round. The dumplings were also amazing. We enjoyed sitting outside, both times we went there were very loud children. I wish there was a place like this in Wellington!

Been to this restaurant a couple of times and never ever was disappointed. This place is great for spicy food lovers like me. For those who are not keen on some spice, you can ask the waiters regarding the level of heat of the food you are ordering or there are some food in the menu that are not spicy at all, so you can still dine. Some of their waiters don’t speak English yet the lovely owner/manager comes to the rescue. Great food, excellent service. A place you would want to be.

I really enjoyed it, my partner not as much. But the portions were very big and I loved the broths and sauces. The home made noodle was kind of udon like, not my favorite but had nice bounce.

Food tasted great and spicy ! The mabo tofu was really nice. The crispy chicken was also nice. However, the dumpling was a bit off. It tasted like they used old meat. Considering the price, portion was smaller than expected. Service was also not that good. Some staffs couldn’t speak English, so we had a bit of problem communicating.

Authentic-tasting Szechuan cuisine. The servings are huge and are made for sharing. I would definitely go back again. Didn't like the lighting inside (very bright, white lights) and the waiter pointed his snout to a table when we asked for one so it was a bit rude. There was also a little bit of a wait on our beef dish. Apologies for the food photos. We had already started eating when I realised I hadn't taken any pbotos so I did quite hurriedly.
