The venue and staff are always amazing and so welcoming and friendly. They always take care of customers weather you a regular or first time. The duck salad was absolutely stunning! Best food I have had up here duck wise in ages! The menu is very good with a wide selection of drinks, arcade for the kids, pokies for adults and also host special events as well. Always good vibes and great people with awesome food! Thanks always to Rhys, Garry and the team you guys are amazing!!

Had pork belly burger. Mehh it was dry. The salad inside the burger was good. But not worth it. I was in for 1hr and not once did someone ask if I wanted drinks? Their loss.

great drinks, wonderful atmosphere - very attentive and friendly staff! Must try the homemade hummus and bread - absolutely incredible!

Fantastic food, great service and the best part - delicious cocktails!!! We had the beef habits beef quesadillas full of aged wagyu beef and tangy pickled salsa. Two dons chicken tacos are tasty too. Popcorn chicken is delish! And if you like a perfectly balanced sours - grab a honey bunny :-)

Felt sorry for these guys. Hit so hard by the lockdown and red traffic light setting that they've had to gut their usual menu. No fresh oysters or the usual goodies they used to do as they were getting unaffordable levels of wastage with the current low tourist levels. Staff were very helpful and friendly and we will definitely try them again when hopefully normal service is resumed. Thanks heaps Jacinda and Hone. Perhaps you can give a little support to the struggling businesses of Northland instead of padding out your own nests for a change.

Great place to kick back and relax. Old school spacies, pool table, great music and terrific staff.... oh and the food was incredible. Great time had, we will be back

Brendan Carson and I loved every minute of the great venue and rapturous and full house at your superb venue, the Nauti Penguin!!!! We shall return!!!

Food was about 3.5 out of 5. Central venue in Russell. Annoyingly got asked to scan my vax pass 3 times while my gf didn't even get scanned. You can buy alcohol to take home from the bar, although the liquor store around the corner is a tiny bit cheaper.

Great bar and friendly staff and the music was pretty good. Only let down was the food wasn't very good, dry and tasteless. Got 3 of our 4 meals wrong.

Great find. Good music and atmosphere. Can imagine gets bustly but sunday night was steady. Good martini and margarita. Beautiful pulled pork taco (happy men) and Falafal salad awesome (nauti balls). Ha ha ha. Doggie bag to take away. Well done guys

Very. Very. Good. Nice selection of beer and every single fish that came out was excellent. Top draw chicken tendies. 10/10.

Staff are friendly but service is really slow and our drinks orders were forgotten twice. Nice place to sit outside but not sure if I will return.

A top place to enjoy a beverage,food and a game of pool and the cocktails great.Can not speak highly enough of staff and servicr.

Brilliant food and service, great value too, if in Russell you must go there.

I was reluctant to come here as we had been here before it was the nauti penguin and was extremely average. I was amazed with the improvement in the food! Had the lamb, falafels, oysters 2 x deep fried 1 x Japanese style, all excellent and delicious. Also had the am-pm cocktail also excellent!
