A.Had a lovely dinner while we we're visiting the area. Nice quiet atmosphere with great customer service.
The mains are decently portioned, I had steak and my partner had the slow cooker lamb.
We both enjoyed the salad, well seasoned.
My boyfriend did enjoy his meal very much, but wished there were more bread served.
I had no issues with my steak, I had it with some lovely potato chips.
Would recommend this restaurant for dinner instead of driving to Matakana, if you want something nice in the Snell's Beach area.

H.Table of 4 and we all had beautiful meals, our waitress was very good. A very busy night but the waitresses need more training, e.g. need trays for the bar instead of delivering one glass at a time to tables and then back clearing of tables as they walk past. We have been twice and both times excellent food and we will be back.
C.Three visits in one weekend! Five stars are not enough! Quality, value for money meals, fast friendly service. Changes to menu items no hassle. Special mention to Jackson, Stella, Ryan and Arni. Awesome to see young, engaged locals interacting with the punters in such a positive way. Chairs Cafe is everything a family run business in a small community should be. You guys nailed it, we will be back!
A.This small town business has recently undergone new ownership and a complete renovation offering a more Wine Bar feel to the operation. Indoor/ Outdoor dining, large Carpark outside. Open on weekends for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Open weekdays for lunch/dinners. Menu fairly sedate but undergoing a revamp so watch this space. One small unisex toilet on site. No TV screens for major sport events. Giving them time to show what they can do. Previous standard was very good.
K.We always come here when we are away on holiday. The food and coffee is always good. Today I saw something that you don’t see very often anymore. A lady spilled her coffee. The staff jumped straight into action, cleaned up the mess and made her another coffee free of charge. And they did it with a smile on their face. Fantastic service!
A.Lovely meal, good service, friendly staff, good quantity, but the place wasn't busy, so good atmosphere and staff weren't pushed for time. 2 mains plus 2 beers was $75. I would recommend.
W.I have been living in NZ for 1 year when i came to this resto. I can firmly say that the food from this resto is the best food i've ever eaten so far in NZ. They really put their heart in making the foods! The taste is really really nice, the filling of the foods is amazing, very dense! And i must say it is very affordable... i dont know what else can i say?! Very very recommended resto!

C.Love this place - a children's corner which kept the 5 youngsters amused whilst we had a break with a lovely coffee. They provided fluffy's for a very reasonable price. Great food options and outside seating is very pleasant amongst plantings.

J.Absolutely loved the staff, theyre funny and friendly but dont come across arrogantly. The staff there remind you that youre being served by actual people with them cracking jokes with the manager and always putting on a smile that isnt forced. The food on the other hand is absolutely stunning, I ordered the batteted fish and chips. The fish was locally caught fish battered in local beer. I dont think ive ever had such a good tasting fish. The fish was fresh tasting with a very crispy batter. You can taste dashes of the beer without the bitterness, a sign of actual beer being used in the batter. The chips were just as good, well salted and crispy and creamy. They did seem like freezer chips which are harder to cook well but they had perfected it. The food was fantastically presented. The salad was also quite outstanding, diced perfectly into micro cubes allowed different fresh flavours to dance in your mouth.
Overall, the restaurant had made it seem like had soul, you can really tell that the staff put both effort and love into the business and food. Would definitely recommend to passing tourists and locals.
B.We arrived in town late and they were happy to squeeze us in even though they were busy. Food was absolutely spot on. The Haloumi with roasted veg was the best ever. 10/10

V.Fantastic start with the Seafood Chowder, very disappointed with the Salmon main (on the dry side). However my friend found the steak main phenomenal and the starter mussel fritters superb.
T.Walked in off the street having never been there before. Had a corn fritter with bacon and a blueberry fejoia muffin. It was Fantastic! The fritter was delicious and had lots of bacon and the price was very reasonable for a lot of food. The muffin was moist and so yummy. And the staff that helped was lovely. Highly reccommend!
