I felt safe here as they have a table set up in the doorway and customers order from the footpath and wait outside. The staff member was friendly and helpful. The wait was under 15 minutes. Our food was fantastic! We ordered four burgers (fish, beef, chicken, Cajun chicken), a cheese and onion toastie plus two scoops of chips. The chips were perfectly cooked, generous and more than enough for the five of us. We all agreed the food was outstanding. The Cajun chicken was the best burger I have ever had. Husband said the same about his. Highly recommend this place to everyone, can't wait to return!

Awesome, probaby the best fish and chips I've ever had. Gurnard and chips were perfect and super crunchy, and not greasy at all. Massive tasty spring roll too.

We live in snells Beach and I think these are the best hot chips in the whole area. Warkworth, matakana and snells.

Last week we were at the Warehouse, and parked outside the Skillet and Fillet, and as it was lunch time, we thought that we would have a meal of fish and chips down by the beach, this was an excellent choice. The fish and the chips were cooked and drained very well. The batter was crispy and best of all, not too thick, resulting in no oil dripping onto the paper. The only picky criticism on my part, was just a little too much salt for me, but other wise an excellent meal. One of the best fish and chip outlets around. A must try it.

Usual good standard from here. Clean oil, fresh fish, good general Black Board selection. Basic burgers are even better than most. Huge parking area outside, Toilets very close by.

Good chips but they said 45 mins and it took an hour and a half. Only order a scoop of chips and some onion rings. But they are normally better with time.

I've eaten a few times here recently when I've been up this way. Each time I've had great food; really good chips and the fish has been very tasty. Their burgers are well cooked and presented, and the staff have been friendly and nice. Overall a really good experience.

Lovely food. Place a bit scruffy and dated like cardboard boxes sitting in their display cabinet. Looks awful. Needs a tidy up and it would be great and worthy of 5 stars.

I love it always has been the best fish n chip shop I’ll be going there tonight the fish dose need some work but it good enough for me because I’m not a fish eater but this fish I can eat the chips with lemon pepper is soo good the sausages are delicious the deep fry mazs bars are super good there burgers are good to but would love to have the fancy lettuce back on the burger not the ice brug but yer love it and I still come here after 15 years x
