Absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, the breads are soft like theyre freshly baked (they probably are!) The churros are to die for, and the iskender chip meals are generous and very, very filling (I might need a kids meal next time 😂). So glad we have something so fresh and interesting in this little town!

The food here is very fresh and very tasty. Flavour packed in ever bite. I also enjoyed their range of authentic desserts which they home make from scratch. The cashier is always polite and wearing and big smile and has great customer service. I highly recommend the Is restaurant

I took a small Mixed Kebab, the quantity was very good and enough, and the taste was delicious! And we can choose up to 3 sauces. I recommand, the chef is nice and friendly :)

Delicious! Packed full of delicious meats and vegetables, my chicken kebab was one of the tastiest I have had here in New Zealand! I finish it off with some fantastic baklava and Turkish delight. Definitely don’t miss this place if you are passing through Stratford. It is worth the stop!

We've been coming to Sahara for some time now and we love the whole experience. Really friendly and happy people and beautiful food. Today I tried a salad instead of a kebab and, truly, it was even nicer and so so healthy. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the portions - very generous. Even my hubby and my son's appetite has been satisfied. I can recommend Sahara 100%. We have definitely become regulars. Complements to the chef ! Cheers Anna, Jarek and Zak

We visited Saraha Kebabs&Grill last week. Very friendly boss. He showed us a lot about the area with very useful info. The food was great too. Fresh salad, crunchy yummy chips and great grill chicken kebab! My kid loved the meal here :) Very reasonable price for such a large portion and quality. Excellent customer service, food was amazing...one of the best kebab meat I have had in New Zealand....loved the salad too, so glad there were no raw onions...next time will try their meal option for sure...my husband and I intend to make it a regular food stop when hankering for donor kebab...you won’t be disappointed.

Best place for a healthier option take out or eat in meal , always fresh & beautifully presented. They have the most friendliest staff. Delicious! A great stop for a meal on a road trip! Unexpectedly very good middle eastern food in middle NZ! Very good value. Big meals. My 12 year old couldn’t finish the pocket kebab. They are big. My 9 year old ordered a kids chicken hamburger. She loved it! Yes great range of kids meals too. And baklavas delicious! I had the mixed plate with rice. So good!

The best kebab shop we have ever been to! My partner tried one years ago and it put him off kebabs until sahara came to town. Always full of flavour, packed with salads and meat, and very fulling! The staff are also very friendly.

One of my favourite food stores to go to, for many reasons. One being the brilliant customer service I receive every time I go in, I never feel rushed (despite how busy it gets and over whelming it must be for them) they are always cheerful and happy which makes me want to continue shopping there and to top it off the food is amazing. Large variety of sweet and savoury, my go to is a Chicken Chip Iskander and its like heaven. Nail it every time. Thanks guys you’re all doing a brilliant job I 10/10 would/do recommend to everyone.

Nice place, friendly staff. Did not expect good middle-eastern food in New Zealand ;) It was a little bit different to the german Kebab houses but in a good way. Should ban the Bbq-sauce from your menu, because no one needs that on good food ! :) The Baklava was also very good - i only missed the pistachio
