D.Fantastic burgers and the chips were great too. About a 15 min wait was fine and well worth it for the finished product and clearly spelled out at the time of order. I had the bacon and egg burger and my wife the chicken tower burger. I wish I lived closer!
M.Monday evening 12/7/21 my wife brought a Hawaiin burger & I got a fish burger. They were the best we have ever had!! We also got some chips which were delicious as well but we only had a couple as the burgers were so big. I have attached a photo of my fish burger
A.Delicious gurnard and chips. Batter is just the right thickness and not greasy like some you can get. we got two pieces of fish each as he said the gurnard is relatively small otherwise. Really good quality potatoes and a great price too. Yum yum yum!!!!! Thank you!!!!!

M.Wow!! Chicken hash wrap 🤤🤤🤤🤤 I've been coming here for years but have never ventured far from the fish and chip menu. Until tonight and unless it's oyster season I don't think I'll touch the fish and chip menu again after tonight.
If ya stuck on what you should get...Get a wrap. They're Huge, delicious and filling.
Nb: Kids packs are an awesome choice for the munchkins. 😁
B.Processed 70% beef burger patties are acceptable for some but not all. Don't really care for breadcrumbs and maltodextrin in my burger. It's cheap and convenient though so thats good hey. 12 huck for a cheesy, most went in the bin, grey sausage meat.
Maybe go for anything but the beef burgers. Gravy for loaded fries was great.

M.The burgers were huge...we could not finish them. But they were good. Was a good 20 minutes back to our accommodation so we ate outside the shop on one of the many outdoor seats available.
I.Nice little shop with quick service and nice staff. I had a great burger with some thick potatoe fries and my friend had fish and chips which he enjoyed too though the fish was a little small.
D.Fast and friendly, but most importantly FRESH and reasonably priced. They keep from making excess trash (the earth cannot handle anymore) by wrapping it all up in a large paper. They even have some vegetarian options and meat options.
V.As ever the food was great, little disappointed in the size of the hoki we paid $5.50 for though. EDIT *** After input from Bay Takeaway and hubby who purchased tea last night; I stand corrected. It was gurnard and I'm sure hubby said it was $5.50, the $5 elephant fish is hard to go past but I do like crumbed fish, which isn't always available. The first time I purchased crumbed fish from Bay I paid something like $8.50 and it was minuscule and I complained (something I rarely do). Rhys apologized and next time me we ordered he rectified this...he is the best EVER business owner at accepting and taking on board complaints, suggestions and criticism! His staff always act the same way and you couldn't deal with a better business. Regardless... a 5 star rating for always doing the right thing and cooking scrummy fish n chips 👌

S.So delicious! I highly recommend Bay Takeaway. We went two nights in a row it was that good. The burgers are amazing and they are massive so you can share one between two. The price is decent for the quality food you receive. The chips are lovely and the food isn't dripping with oil. Best burgers we have had in a long time with fresh ingredients. Also the staff are very nice and show pride in what they present you. You will most like wait 30 minutes for your food but it proves that this food is in demand and others also believe it is worth the wait.

A.Delicious food but we were hit with quite a wait unfortunately, about an hour from calling it in to food in hand. The burgers added all of the extra time as there was a big backlog. So just to confirm, the food was lovely but the unexpected wait was a killer.
M.If you are man and you are hungry, there's no better place in town to try this shop for the good fish and chips. I've tried a couple of other places but I was never too happy about the portion size but this Takeaway surprises me with the portion size.

T.Fantastic! Very big portions, friendly staff, fresh food and for this quality and food sizes a low price. It's okay to share one portion fries for 2 people. I loved the aioli and the bacon and egg burger. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Definitely worth to come over.

N.This is the best fish and chips I've had in the area. It is consistently cooked perfectly, well priced, and very fresh. The staff are always lovely and there are some chairs and tabled outside for sitting if you don't want to take away.
