Cannot beat the value for money!! Great fish either battered or crumbed, normal hot chips, but why would you when there's garlic fries and a few other optionsalso. Our new local that's not really local but worth the travel!

If you’re looking for your seafood fix, this is the place to go, this local fish and chips shop located in takanini, has a range of sea food, all very affordable, if you’re a fish lover like myself, I recommend their 5 dollar fish burger and 10 for 10 dollars half cooked battered muscles, lovely people and customer service.

I moved from Panmure a month ago and decided to check out a Takeaways last week. I found this GEM and fell in love with their fish and fritters! I love my fish raw, boiled, baked and fried and these guys have satisfied the fried department to the T :D. The BEST FISH in my opinion. Top Notch!

The best takeaway in the area that we have tried. Good portion sizes on chips which arent oily or over salted. Battered items always cooked well, not the crispiest batter but still good. They arent skimpy with the sauce for hot dogs which is appreciated and its the good chutney stuff too. Owners are polite and friendly and service is quick and accurate. Prices align with other takeaways in the area, but portions and quality is better. The only down side to visiting is the location, which can be a bit sketchy at times, eg window washers and beggars and we once saw a guy hanging around the dairy next door with a large knife (thankfully only once and he didnt use it)
